Im currently using it to max health on my oberon, + an armour mod and a focus on renewal. im having fun.

You also have to use them on sentinel and pets. But yeah, they are ridiculously hard to get (well, it's not even "hard to get" when there's actually no way to farm them that I know of. I mean, you can get them from sorties (random, not farmable), lotus gift (hehe), and maybe some obscure mission I'm not aware of but with a probable 0.3% drop chance, not what I'd call farmable if you want to retain your sanity), but that's one of their "buy plat or suffer not being able to have good frame stats". And as with everything else, once you get to 600-1000h or playtime, you should have everything reactor'd or catalyst'd so they will be of no use anymore... basically there no mid-point.

Depends on content but I would forma a dash for CP, Enemy Radar, Loot Detector, Energy Siphon. Rejuvenation bugs out Quick Thinking so I wouldn't really use it. Others are pretty meh, but a dash has best auras overall (unless you want to use brief respite which is a double dash :^))

If you are serious about using it for high-level content, Corrosive Projection all the way.

The power boost from Growing Power could be nice but realistically will effect the squad a lot less than a global armour fucking aura to counter enemy scaling.

Stand United is like Physique and only effects your base armour by a tiny amount. Not worth it.

Rejuve might be OK if you don't go into Grineer endless missions and have Rage on, but really, get CP.

I realize how important and strong CP is. The problem I have is that Growing Power adds 25% power strength which translates to a huge amount of armor and damage for chroma, perhaps the damage bonus I'll receive will surpass the decrease in the enemies' EHP due to CP, making GPower the smarter choice. I haven't done the math tho because I'm dumb.

Growing Power *might* help you but not having Corrosive Projection *will* fuck the rest of the squad.

I'm not sure if growing power is particularly important on chroma. The bonus is addictive and you typical chroma build probably already has a lot of power strength + bonus armor is not very effective because of the whole diminishing return thing going on with it.

Well, my friend found an obscure post on reddit about going to vodyanoi with 3 nekros and a nidus.
But I thought that was stupid and half perfected it.

So here's what you do.
Despoil Nekros, EV trinity, Ore Gaze Atlas, And Overextended -duration Nidus.
Camp one point with all your best cutting weapons (Memeing strike atterax, Panthera, etc)
Nidus spams 2 over and over, trin uses 2 to top em off occasionally, Atlas whore gazes, and nekros butchers everything to bits.
800 endo a run, and a run takes about 5 minutes.

How good is Oberon now after the rework? I just chucked his Prime in the oven.

Not a single frame in the game can constantly maintain health regen, except tryn. And on tryn you had to recast it constantly, which makes her somehow uncomfortable. Also tryn don't protect from statuses, which in my experience is extremely useful on slash/radiation sorties.

Mostly because swords were introduced in the times of damage 1.0, when procs were op, serrated damage existed and, for example, ether weapon ignored armor at all. Now we either wait for damage 3.0, or for some more balance update. They buffed bronco enough for it to do damage, they buffed many primary/secondary weapons, now they should stick to melee.

In order for healing to be useful, you need to fulfill these conditions:

1) get hit, but not get one-shotted (rare in sorties, since getting hit means dying)
2) be in range of the healer (have fun with teammates who run off everywhere)
3) not use your own healing (pads, lifestrike, furis, medi-ray, etc.)

So you bring along an entire frame for an extremely rare circumstance so you can fulfill the same use as a fucking consummable

Because there was possibility to get potentially infine amount of primed pieces from defence/survival, while wasting only single key for a run. So people took frost, nova, trinity and, as much as i remember, Rhino for damage buff, went defence and stand there until finally it was too hard for them to continue. And to move that border far away, people had to use all 8 slots for ability changing mods, while frost globe protected them from all the damage, nullifiers could not remove that globe with their bubbles, that was introduced much later, trin gave infinite mana, nova and rhino gave huge damage buff, while nova was also slowing everything.
Now is other days. There's no need to go past lvl 100, and even that lvl 100 is 3rd sortie and some kuva missions. And on that levels health mod are perfect for getting one frame not turn into constantly downed retard.

the gammacor's pretty crap. the synoid gammacor does more damage and has a syndicate proc. I've heard good things, but haven't used it myself. It is a beam weapon, so I have trouble believing it's all that.

The phage is also a beam weapon and has a lot of problems, but being able to hold the damage on guys from a shotgun, which is probably the easiest to mod class of guns, and doing pure elemental are advantages. I think if you like the phage then the spaghetti gun is good, but if its action annoys you it's just trash.

I think challenge may not have been the right word. What I mean is that I need a sense of direction and accomplishment when playing the game. All I hear about warframe is "grind so you get grind more lol". I need to encounter something powerful as a sort of validation of how strong my character has become.

Lets say I'll use WoW as my example even though it isn't a very challenging game. When you're playing WoW you have some clearly pronounced villains and powerful entities. As you're progressing through the game and getting stronger you encounter these characters and maybe fight against them or alongside with them. At the same time you're completing the story which explains to you why that stuff you've been doing actually has any sort of significance in the greater scale of things. I feel like Warframe fails to provide players with that sense of purpose.

Good fucking luck, Warframe doesnt have anything aside from personal satisfaction at a job well done.

The only endgame is endless survival/defense, which is pointless to do because there is no endless mission that gives meaningful rewards.

This is a huge problem that DE is dragging their feet about fixing. They are more interested in making muh open world instead of making an endgame. They say that the boss fight on the plains will be difficult, but its just a single boss fight

PoE is the anti Anthem measure, not anti Destiny. Any tips for a beginner? What weapons should I am for? So far I've just picked up whatever cheap stuff I can get to rank up. Also got some prime weapons with Void Relics, like a Lux pistol and a Paris bow, or something like that.

Well, now i know, where to begin giving tips.
First, you max out your serration as much as you can. Second, you go to warframe wiki and carefully read about damage 2.0, damage types, bonus damage to different kind of health, statuses and crits. Then, for beginning, on every weapon you create 3 builds for 3 different factions. In each build you should have at least 2 elemental damage or elemental damage+status mods, depending on faction. Then you should know, that some guns will start shining after you forma then 2-6 times, depending on gun. Some requre additional damage, some requre some regulator mods like -recoil, +fire rate etc. Next, don't even think about any gun until you put blue potato into it.
