You don't understand. They're probably not even playing poorly either. Last gamble decks go for OTKs when they gamble using BEWD/DT/Necrofear/Darkflare. The turns leading to the gamble they're going to be emptying shit into their GY and setting searchers to prep for the gamble. For example, desert twister last gamble still uses dai grepher, which is a garbage beater now, to pass the turns. It's gimmicky as shit though because they can roll 1s too.

FPs and Unpossessed still make the deck. Without FPs, the individual charmers are only as good as your backrow and what monsters they steal, and are incredibly weak to just dying to most monsters by battle, let alone removal. The FPs allow them to be aggressive.
Without Unpossessed, they just die to battle effortlessly.

Never. Hardcore Stall decks would kill the game. It's bad enough we have to fight through walls and shit, but it's just not possible to have the resources to outgrind a solid stall deck and still have a reasonable game time.

I'm currently testing Super Rush Headlong and Tribute to the Doomed in handless decks. So far, SRH doesn't seem that useful, since your monsters usually overpower theirs. Could just be bad matchups, we'll see.

On the other hand, TttD is actually amazing. Being able to dump a card + destroy a monster is really helpful. Especially when you can get rid of face downs too, takes care of yomi ship, birdface, etc

considering the prevalence of mako and exploder dragons I guess I should try to get tttd. rip 5k gems inc.

with 3sd dying it almost seems like kind of a neat idea to try the heavy knight in place of gearfried/blue flame. you can easily go turns without being able to summon things thus you can normal summon it easily and it kills some of the weakness to the deck which is special summoned boss monsters. blue flame is probably strictly better, though.

I went against a Keith that I assume was playing the Deck who was using Restart. Desert Sunlighting the Pathfindee must've pissed him off. He didn't quit, he just let the clock run out to waste my time

This thing pulls otks out of nowhere, basically any 2 decent beasts with this is game, and it almost lets beasts/beast-warriors dodge shit, you still lose the monster but it's attack all gets dumped onto another one. You can even use it during the damage step if they try to wall.
