Huh. I didn't even catch that detail because everything around it sucked so much.

The prologue was pretty decent, felt like Nasu but simplified, cheaper production values (no custom CG) and on fast-forward, kind of what I was hoping for. But Orleans and Septem just fucking sucked. Only part in them that reminded me of the good in Fate was how mad Jeanne Alter was about being killed.

It's a shame. If they just tried harder in the VN parts this could legit be good, instead of a cheap piece of shit for people who are already fans.

She's perfectly fine as a character, it's just the writing in Septem and Orleans is dogshit.

Most TM works have a kind-of bland character that they can bounce all of the crazy Servants off of, so they can get good interactions. But the Servants in Grand Order are so bland and one dimensional themselves that there's no bouncing involved. Except for Nero, everyone just sticks together in one big ball of fuck.

The reason Septem leaned so hard on Nero is that she writes her own dialogue. The writers didn't know what to do with anyone else, which is why Boudica+Spartacus+Jing Ke+Lu Bu get 3 lines between them.

d'Eon seems pretty decent, although I didn't play the JP version so I can't say for sure. They certainly have better stats when compared to Georgios, and they have a Bond 10 CE which boosts Arts cards of everyone, so d'Eon is probably preferable on an Arts-focused team.

BotJ is only available on launch. Over the course of FGONA's growth people who's starting out any later than that will ALWAYS use a support capable of carrying them through early stories with FP CE attached. This applied to JP and no reason for it to not repeat itself here. It only makes less difference because post-2 weeks after launch practically everyone is carrying that CE.

You do get +75 over the normal rate (+10/25) if someone uses your support with it.

Ushiwakamaru is so damn underrated. I never hear anyone in these threads talk about her, but she is the mvp on so many of my teams.

FGO really should stop trying to force half the cast into each singularity. Why the fuck were Lu Bu and Jing Ke in Septem? It made no sense for them to be there and they contributed nothing. And Liz and Tamacat were in there too for literally no reason and contributed even less. Just pick a small subsection of characters, five or six tops, and tell an actual story with them as best you can instead of forcing in a dozen "hey I was here too"s.

I really hope the writing picks up later because what we got now was trash. Localization too, though I feel like even if the localization was actually good it couldn't have saved this drivel.

Kaleido is for flashfarmers with terrible or next to none NP gain like Retard Cat, Unrivaled or EMIYAs.

Waver doesn't need anything special, but you can go NP-spamming 2 turns in a row with his arts brave chain and a Formalcraft/ Divine Banquets. In the future a CE called Twice (Remnants of 2030) will dominate every waver's CE slot because it passively gains 8~10 crit stars each turn.

My overflow AP just vanished on no less than 3 different occasions. There was no common factor to the occasions. Once I logged out and when I came back it was gone. Once I stayed logged in, did a battle and when I returned to the lobby it was gone. And once I just changed menus and it fucking vanished.

All in all I lost over 400 overflow AP, during a time when I really could have put it to good use.

From a players perspective I don't want to use a support with the FP craft essence on them because it has shit stats and it gives me no benefit.

Like why would I choose the support with FP essence over the one with Kaleido or some other CE? I don't see the point. I mean in this case I do want waver for the NP skill and it basically doesn't matter what CE you put on waver, but that's not the case with most supports.
