What is your favourite Danganronpa chapter, /drg/? Mine is v3-1. I went totaly blind on it (and thought the Kaede dying predictions were just memes), except for some anons saying that it was a ride, and it actually was. Assistant Saihara is best Saihara, Kaede was a great protagonist with her optimistic attitude, the victim was completely unexpected to me (I was thinking it would be Saihara), the general atmosphere of the chapter is very dreadful with the player being led to think that the murderer wanted to off everyone with the class trial and the murderer reveal was shocking to me. 2-1 is a close second because of fucking Nagito.

It's just that the pink seifuku is rather ugly, couldn't they maybe have made it a dark shade of pink perhaps? I guess it can't overlap with already done coloured seifuku (Fukawa - purple, Peko - navy, Sayaka - white with pink scarf, Sakura - white with red scarf, Ibuki also white with pink scarf, Maki - red seifuku.)

I understand how you feel. I get that they're HS students but it's kind of plain when many characters in DR1, and only a couple in DR2 with a couple in V3 - all wear variations of some type of seifuku or gakuran.

I mean, I'm not sure whether this is correct or not but, when we first see the character's show up in 1 and 2, are they going on an orientation kind of thing? Where they wear casual clothes before the uniform? If so, why do a few characters choose to wear uniforms?

Also, why is it that DR2 students, in comparison to 1 and V3 majority wear more casual clothes than uniforms? Or is there really no meaning to it..

DR1: Junko, Celes, Ishimaru and Sakura in a vague and ambiguous order that constantly changes. Junko because she's over the top hilarious, insane and fucking awful, Celes because she's a lying crazy hooker that's smarter than most of them, Ishimaru because my socially retarded boy dindu and he's cutely obnoxious, and Sakura because she's a lovely princess who deserves better than literally anyone in the cast. Mondo and Touko are great too, but I feel like it's cheating to include Touko in the favorites list because I like her much, much more because of UDG.

SDR2: I haven't replayed this in a while and I'm going to after I finish DR1, but I really like Kuzuryuu, Mikan, Hinata, Sonia, and Mahiru. Kuzuryuu because best written character and best boy, Mikan because I think you should have picked up on my taste for crazy and emotionally broken girls by now, Hinata because good protagonist and good development, Sonia because I found her weird interests and quirks like swearing all over the place cute, and Mahiru's just adorable to me for some reason.

Cons are good fun. Of course there's always a cringey aspect to it when you show a large amount of anime fans together in a small space but there's definitely a nice atmosphere if you're about to just accept that and enjoy it for what it is. Unless you're being shitty or a creep or have bad hygiene/wear extremely inappropriate clothing, there's little judgement for who or what you choose to cosplay or wear.

The downside is that in terms of merch, most cons are around 4-6 months behind what's airing or popular because of product turnaround times and everything's going to be a bit to much more expensive than what you could get online. The last con I went to didn't have any V3 merch and only a few fanmade goods which I bought because Ouma.

At least I got a Juzo keychain for my friend who loves him. Shame all the DR3 stuff was kind of... buried or on lower shelves. I think they know it wasn't very well received.

Also panels are of varying quality, but I've gone to some fun/interesting/hilarious ones.
