There is no other game/series like Atelier when it comes to forgetting to save.

It was only in the middle of a tough boss fight that I realized I last saved 1.5 hours ago. And this happens pretty much every time I play the series.

I think I've officially dropped DT2-2. Put it down in mid-Chapter 8 a month ago, tried playing it again today but had to put it back down, just too boring.

Was looking forward to it a ton too, even got the Lilian tapestry Limited Edition box. It's just too much of the same from DT2 - they didn't even do anything with the corruption angle, the jobs and skills are 1 for 1 pasted from DT2-2, the new skits don't feel like they add anything new to the characters...does it get better beyond Chap.8 or should I just drop it if I've been bored so far?

It is really fun, cute and kind of comfy while also being very challenging the further you go. That second nine holes of Arabian was wrecking me, I've given up for now and am going to bed. I can't put my disappointment in Muramasa Rebirth into words. Being a huge Vanillaware fan I really looked forward to playing it, but now, a mere 3 hours in I think I might as well drop it.

I don't care about any characters, or more like the one character we play and know nothing absolutely about. 3 hours in I still don't know what the story is. Momohime got posessed. That's it. Since I don't know a single thing about her, I don't care. The fighting system was way smoother in Odins Sphere. There are two difficulties: way too easy and way too hard. You have to backtrack several minutes the way you came without any new dialogues or encounters, just running back the cleared path you judt came. Several times for several minutes.
This is horrible. I might just skip straight to the DLC stories, they showed some interesting looking characters and looked like rather compact stories, like a one-shot manga, so to speak. But I think I'm done with Muramasa Rebirth, I might play it until I meet whatever his name is, but I doubt it'll change much. Fucking hell.
