are there any settings that help you spot people that i am unaware of? i swear i go to the ends of the earth to keep a low profile and stay in the brush and i still get killed by people within 25m that i don't see all the time. i have probably only 20 kills at longer than 60m using non-snipers. i barely see muzzle flash, yet every time i fire a few rounds, people seem to find me right away. i usually play sapper or pointman so i can still be relatively useful, but i would like to be more useful as a grunt when i have to play as one because right now i basically am just going to points slowly and sitting on them while hidden or looking at one choke point because i die 70% of the time playing active

I guess the steam sales have shifted a lot of players onto other games for the time being. That and new players have probably lost interest in it.

Give it until they bring out new maps then the game will liven up.
