I bought the unvault pack since I had absolutely fuck all of it and Rhino is just fucking stupid

For general purpose I go with 206% dur, 100% eff, 91% range (no bully) and 195% strength

the damage buff is ridiculous and with the augment iron skin makes you basically invulnerable all the time

and if shits get too fuzzy press 4 to insta kill trash mobs up to like 40 and if they dont die, you lock them in midair for 20s

its astounding how well he can handle himself

i've been watching a lot of dark sector and star trek 2009 gameplay and it's staggering just how much of it is recycled into warframe. it's sometimes improved, but sometimes mechanics are just copy pasted like being downed and waiting to revive or enemy types and movement animations. like the grineer enemies with the shields or the way a charger runs, both animations used in previous titles. i wouldn't mind so much if they ripped more into new features at least. like the cover system in dark sector, add it to operator movement or their own missions. something. god.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I was expecting but this is still shitty.
Also, maybe I'm the only one but the game feels fun until enemies get over lvl 50, after that it feels like a shitfest with everything taking 10 hits to the face and ancients/corpus tech/bombard spawning every 2 seconds. I'm pretty much choosing the highest difficulty in any game I play, but this feels more like a Musou where I just want to destroy countless enemies easily. Which makes sorties not fun right now, maybe I'll think better when I have everything possible lvl 30 8x forma'd and potato'd.

I enjoy the general gameplay, the constant search for higher damage numbers, min maxing, working towards a good build/investing forma into something and then seeing it pay off when wrecking shit, I enjoy customizing my frames, I love the general design of the game, I like the combination of good gun combat and good melee combat, I love the huge variety of weapons that function differently, I like the variety frames and their different builds give you, I enjoy trading and buying nice things from the plat earned in that trading and in general I enjoy the ride towards higher MRs trying new weapons and frames that change gameplay drastically

It's the first game I didn't feel pressured to spend money on, but wanted to.

Most other MMOs I played bullied the player into buying premium goods to progress faster or progress at all.

They could add an auction house that lets you put up one set at a time and limit it to one sale per 24 hours, that way there would still very much be a need for trade channel but it would also let people have more ease with how they sell without undercutting and price gouging being too much of an issue. Since most people won't fuck around if they can only do one trade this way and if someone does fuck around they're locked out after one go.

As much as I'd like it for selling some things because I don't want to sit in the ship and stare at a chat or quit what I'm doing to go into a trade lobby to trade.
