Quick, I'm about to play my first MA game with some friends and I found out no one else is taking an UW nation on a map that can support them.

idk, I've only played them for about all of 10 minutes and need to submit in another 10. As far as I can tell, their only sacreds are generally low hp shiedless void summons, and twist fate seems great for them. In general, a rainbow might work for them as well, but I'm leary of using lots of troops to expand with them when most are high gold/low resources. So having an awake, even if uncontested seems like a good idea.

Ryleh seems to do well according to the googledoc, figured I'd give them a try

Your sacreds aren't very good. By that I mean that they're excellent units, but they only come from the void gate, which is unreliable at best.

I tried MA Ry'leh quite a bit and the bulk of your Void Gate summons is probably gonna be Formless Spawn, Lesser Otherness and Vile Thing, none of which are very good, best one is the Formless Spawn, who has a lotta HP so it benefits more from a N9 then anything. To be honest I've never heard of taking S9 for Twist Fate, if you want more protection take E for, well, literally more protection, or N for regeneration that would benefit your Formless Spawn.

R'lyeh literally just wants scales/awake. It doesn't need a bless (but can use N9 for void stuff and its golems), it doesn't need diversity past E2 (just need to put a slave mage on land with E for boots to make crystal coin), and it can spend as much gold as it wants on mages or mindblasters

Shadow of Mordor recruitable units are now finished. Commanders and summons to follow. I think at some point I might give the units upgraded versions that they can exp shape into and have that as the nations main gimmick.
