Yeah but the majority of the time you're taking screenshots for other people to see and you're never going to take a screenshot of a wonky animation. Unless it really fucks up a lot of screenshot potential then I guess I'll probably keep the mod in a removable and easy to find folder.

But anyway. I don't have much of a style to my sims. I play it about as vanilla as possible. I'm also bad at fashion. Man I just love everyone else's sims so much more than my own.
I always feel like everyone else is so much more creative.

I don't have much of an issue but I also don't take lewds or use wickedwhims, it only crops up when I'm using couple pose mods. Just in my personal use anyway. As long as it's not a huge difference it's not too big of a deal. As for creativity, some of that is just practice. I'm sure some of my Sims look like absolute garbage to others. I think yours are cute in a vanilla-Sims way.

Why can't I get invested in s4 sims as much as my s3 sims? I find the lack of traits appaling even if the majority did nothing or barely anything, they were good for storybuilding and characterization.

Ah, the Sims games just fill me with comfy nostalgia, honestly. From figuring the first Sims on the Gamecube, to setting my sims on fire in the Sims 2 on my family's old shitty laptop and browsing CC with my old best friend at our sleepovers, to playing the Sims 3 and thoroughly enjoying the neighborhood/town system (even though it lagged like hell), and now to casually playing the Sims 4 and completely customizing my sims... it's such a feel-good series.

Oh definitely. Each game has its own charms and for all its flaws, 4 still has a casual comfy feel. It's a lot of fun to design the Sims and their houses. I remember running around the city with the Urbz on the gamecube, the two gameboy games... I think Sims is the only series I just keep coming back to because there's nothing else quite like it.

Yeah, it really has been a great time. Honestly I think my biggest complaint with 4 is that tone-wise, they leaned more G than PG unlike some past things. Even so, mods can fix a lot of that.

Meditation isn't as easily abused as in the previous games though right? I think I read that it only sometimes freezes your needs?
Is this that it'll freeze them randomly for a short while while meditating, or that you can spam start meditate and on one go you'll freeze it all?

I have movie hangout and luxury party stuff through bundles I used to get game packs.

Movie hangout is terrible unless you really like bohemians.

Luxury party is okay.

Perfect patio has a decent amount of okay buy mode stuff.

I personally prefer the replacement mesh I found that makes them look less like giant chunks of white. Either way, they're pretty great. Also, the 'retro' music being Sims 1 and maybe Sims 2 tunes is awesome.
