I don't think SCH sucks as much as people think, but SE really needs to rethink Dissipation and Aether Pact.

There is apparently a bug where if you meld all direct hit and summon your fairy the tether does like 50% more healing consistently, and the Dissipation bug was the only thing that made it not an inconvenient mess to use. The fact the two actively work against each other is also pretty retarded. Can't use those aetherflow facts to build fairy gauge without a fairy, ya know?

At the very least they need to make Dissipation act more like Bahamut's summoning, where your pet just goes away, then returns after the duration, or buff it to do something less situational or at the very least less tedious to take advantage of.

Really tired of SCH bugs being the only way to get the most out of their skills.

1. Fish for Ewer or Spire for AoE buff, saving Archer or Balance
2. Use Archer or Balance with AoE buff if possible
3. Occasionally throw a bole on a tank if it doesn't eat AoE buff I guess
4. Drop an Ewer or Spire on people if necessary

You have a much higher chance of drawing a ewer or spire and if you have to click your RR off (which idk if you can still do) to throw a single target Bole or Arrow you just have to draw another one anyway to expand your held balance so you're delaying it another 30s

So I read a while back that servers with low population that award double XP give you a free 15 days of game time when you hit level 30. Is that for all of these servers, and is it still in effect?

I just hit 30 on Mateus and it has the yellow star beside it in the World Select screen, but I haven't been given any game time yet.

Fucking magic is how. Lalafell are arguably the most magically gifted race in the world that we know of, who have not just one but three major nations centered around the use of magic (Mhach, Nym, and Belah'dia). Even Belah'dia's successor states are pretty gifted with magic, Ul'dah being home to the modern Thaumaturge's guild. When Lala's want to get things done, they've got sorcery to get them there.

Though, it also bears mentioning that Lalas aren't doing this alone either. Mhach's was built on the backs of voidsent. Nym and arguably Belah'dia were built with a reliance on golems. Ul'dah was built on the backs of the poor.

They have been very good about making timing clear when it comes to housing in the past.

So are Ala Mhigans supposed to be mostly/all highlanders with dark complexions? I mean I know M'naago is there with the resistance, but I figured that's more because her clan or tribe lives in Ala Mhigo so she's more or less implicated with the area.

Only reason I'm asking is because characters like Fordola and Lyse are rather fair skinned and have light hair, which is weird because Curtis (Lyse's dad) was a pretty dark-skinned dude.

It's only available with newly created characters. Start a new character with the 100% exp boost up to level 60 and level something to 30. Takes just a few days and you get 15 days free game time and a million gil so it's a good deal regardless of if you decide to continue the character afterwards. I guarantee you though if you restarted with the 100% exp and got it to 30 the character would hit 60 long before your character without the boost even being level 30 already.

I'm already level 20 and i haven't even done my first dungeon.

well, the gathering set is not unreasonable to meld by any means, it's just a standard pentameld for the most part as long as you use VI on the hat and chest (tools not withstanding of course), you will miss out on a bit of gp but I don't think that matters

The problem is I've been hitting the leggie nodes, and the perception check is 1200 for the hq bonus, and gathering check seems to be 1200, with some melds I'm sitting at 1063/1085 right now

as for crafting.. it's much trickier to explain kind of. essentially everything is way too much to cap, you'll need to be fully overmelding VIs to cap accessories (which you cant), and likewise for some left side pieces.

here's the interesting thing, the ironworks accessories have the same amount of CP as the level 70 white accessories, the difference is 70 white accessories have other stats on them like +7 control or +7 craftsmanship, essentially I don't think it's worth melding the white accessories at the moment, instead just use your old ironworks

as for the left side, eh yea I'd be on the safe side and meld only the safe slots at the most, with V at the most. I've crafted the taoist gear a few times already which I think is the hardest craft available at the moment, and the control check is pretty hard, i was at 11 stacks and great stride byregots (not innovation) hit for 5367 iirc, out of 14000 quality

I still don't think it's hard to craft anything hq at the moment, but perhaps its a sign for what is to come, that said if you're crafting specialist then nothing should be a problem whatsoever
