Reporting that the US version of Samsung S8 appears to run TD with mostly no problems (I also have everything on max settings). No idea how the EMEA version is handling the game.

I say "mostly" because the S8 has a non-standard aspect ratio and as a result there's some occasional visual screwiness on the outer edges when going through menus. Doesn't happen much and doesn't affect anything functionally, but there you go.

Auto-text as the default is quite convenient. The commus here also address an issue I had with the original ML's commus, of the girls' nonverbal cues being limited to their character portraits. They're quite a bit more expressive here.

My biggest issue so far is that there's no option to disable the back button pausing in lives. Most of my left flicks on the leftmost icon end up doing this.

I think CG was always planned to use 765 as an initial hook and then cut ties with them as soon as its own idols got popular enough. The OGs cards are reused artwork, if I'm not mistaken, and their hometown is listed as "765 Pro".
Also, CG has Onegai Cinderella as its THE IDOLM@STER equivalent, and that song is a better fit for its themes and motifs.

screen orientation can be changed in the same setting screen as the office/gekijou quality

speed adjust is in the live setting at the top right corner once you tap on the guest idol, they switched it to 100% and you can increase or lower the speed instead of just using the 1 to 10 like deresute.

2d and 3d mode can be changed in live setting too, the 2nd tab.
