anyone else just not have fun anymore?

every game is nothing but CAR, R97, and alternator. if I use other weapons, I lose. those weapons themselves are extremely boring to use. it's just not fun.

So I am able to have the Jap voices thanks to an anon who posted his download link. Now I am trying to get Jap voices and English UI and I keep getting errors. The old VPK don't work and actively crash my game. How do I edit them? Or is it kind of complicated and it is better if I wait for someone to update the mod?

not klag, but in the 6 gens I've used the thing it comes down to a mix of skill and luck. Generally with the mastiff the closer you are the better but even then there will be times where you're sure you got a kill shot only to end up taking away 1/8th of their health. The mastiff will almost always get a one shot at very close to close range, and headshots. keep in mind that the mastiff has no vertical spread so if you aim below a pilot in the air you're probably fucked. also know that aiming significantly increases the range. All in all she's a fickle beast but damn fun (and infuriating) to play with.

I actually have three mastiff loadouts. one with grapple, one with holo, and one with pulse. I'd say I use them all fairly frequently but when I need really easy speed (e.g. in CTF) grapple is my go to. And by all means use grav star while learning the ins and outs of the mastiff. Eventually you won't need it and switch it out for a meme ordinance like satchels

Best tips are to use cover, play hit and run, and always sword block when you are not shooting or running when engaged with a titan

Basic approach
Step 1 Flank
Step 2 Flank harder
Step 3 Unload your shotgun into your opponents back
Step 4 Reload and arc wave so they turn slowly
Dash to their back again while unloading shotgun

Repeat til dead.

You can also unload, phase dash through them as they turn, while phasing drop smoke (it works in phase) where they are at, reload while in phase, then unload as you appear behind them.
