So ive been picking some off meta shit in the jg recently and It got me wondering: What is more important to a jungler...Clear or gank potential
Ive been picking irelia jg and having fun every single time.
She brings so much sustain to the jg, shes got decent clear with razorback,
and shes very adaptable for team comps incase you need to be tankier or focus more on damage.
But the thing is, I cant stun someone when I gank them unless I keep myself low on purpose then q-e my way in.
sometimes they are under half hp and I just cant risk jumping in under half health against a burst champ 15 minutes in.
Even still, if I get one of those games where I only need to gank a few times and the lanes feel roughly even, I just jump in and shit on people for team fights.

I usually hate Magic resist on ADC, Mercurial scimitar is the only item I usually consider and when I get it it's usually not even for the resist. If I'm afraid of being bursted down I think I'd rather have GA. Banshee's used to be ok but now it's a mage thing.

For supports I usually feel fine with just locket and some health items, but if you're playing something squishier, I don't really know, maybe Banshee's works for you.

When you die, check to see what killed you. Magic damage is in purple letters, physical damage is in red letters. Tailor accordingly.

You can also press TAB to see what items your enemies have (if AD then the damage is AD, exception being corki which builds AD but does magic dmg). Check enemies' score. You don't need to build armor if your enemies have 3 mages with 20/2 score.

Generally speaking, you build defense on offtanks and supps, adcs focus on dmg and dmg only - the exception being GA (which you should totally buy as soon as possible) and mercurial (if your team has heavy CC) and rely on supps to peel from them.

The bulk of Ahri's true damage comes from Q. It's counterintuitive, but it's more important that it doesn't hit you when it goes back to her, rather than away from her. So you always, always dodge laterally. When you see her launch that, MOVE SIDEWAYS. She might hit you on first (magic dmg), but it won't hit you when it backs (true dmg).

You need to be aware that it goes back when it hits maximum range. So if you stand far from her, it's a gambit. If you manage to dodge, you avoided both magic and true damage. Her W (foxfire) is not that really problematic because most people level Q first for that max dmg. And her ult is just part of annoying mobility creep. You can't kill her when she has it. It's like a free flash.

She's maybe a bit on the strong side, but nothing too critical. She's skillshot reliant, but in the same way Lee is. Lee can miss his Q, but if he clicks his R no way in hell he'll miss Q. Likewise, Ahri can miss her Q, but if she hits her E she will hit her Q too. Her ulti is pretty bullshity but there's worse in the game.

So just stay relatively close to her, and dodge laterally.
