By rerolling into two Cloud TMRs, giving him 300% true doublehand. Then assembling all the best flat +atk gear in the game. Conrad TMR for +130 2h sword, Gouken armor for +20, two Desch TMRs for +45 each and a Prishe hat for another +45. Multiply all that by 4.

Cloud is a beast when properly kitted out.

That being said, I have two questions

1) Should I pull in banners 3 and 5 once, or twice in 5? I really want WoL's CSB, but I also want Orlandeau's relics, even though I have the highest chance of dupes in that one.

2) Can I get some help in building my A-team, based on these relics? I want to know on who should I focus my fest-farming first. Characters with relics and at 90+ are Selphie, Prishe, Ashe, Ramza, and Laguna; characters at 70+ and with relics are Marach, Tidus, Seymour, Delita, Shantotto, Snow, and Faris. Everyone else is at 68 or below.

What I had in mind was

if cecil isnt leveled by now, then he's not priority since WoL incoming. get firion out of there, if he's not hitting killers, he's not doing shit. replace firion with tilith but get her to level 92 at least for her 100% heals. all you get from maxing tilith is aoe revive which can be covered by cat. Keep full break on maxwell at all times with minfilias light guard, and def/spr buffed. Get one friend unit that can quickly eat through maxwell when you get to full esper gauge. all you need to do is play the waiting game with her hitting maxwell with normal attacks whenever possible to build meter. I recommend a strong olive friend since you can se your weaker olive to shatter shot setting up for a really strong minfilia 100% buffed true shot/lb to kill maxwell. Watch out, olive's true shot and lb have tricky timing when trying to sneak in a esper overkill hit in.

I assume that's shout on Ramza and not chant? Also, you'd ideally want a heal BSB but some of those are a problem. I like Porom's, but it heals a pretty low amount of damage, probably since it provides a mind boost and they factored that in for later uses. Aerith would probably work better for harder hitting bosses right now. You could potentially run a magic team, but it's a serious pain to set one up all the time. It sort of depends on what you'd want to do.

Vaan's BSB is great support, but if you have shout you might not want to run both him and Ramza since it tends to hurt damage output with 2 supporters. You could easily set them up to stack breaks, but it might not be worth it.

You don't have much in the way of picking and choosing to make an "all-purpose" team outside of those with medica for the most part, but you have different options for specialty teams. Example: mage-focused lightning elemental team with Shantotto and Ashe as your cornerstones.

You can definitely do it with your team. just get one whale you can build esper meter while autoattacking and healing/buffing/debuffing every few turns. Rune can fuck with you but tilith + cat should be enough to deal. I just tested a team similar to yours and its doable. watch out for olive's mortar beacon, you might one shot her by mistake.

It's mainly a temporal issue, right now, since I don't have many people leveled past 60, much less 90+(I also don't have a sizable amount of eggs to invest), and so I was more or less looking for an all-purpose team while I build the rest.

Final Boss of Stormblood is kicking my ass with the Ahk Morns, because the Healer can't heal fast enough and the tanks can't keep hate. Plus RNG is kicking my ass by breaking enough platforms where we can't survive Tidal Wave. The wall rose up pretty high in comparison to the last dungeon and is more comparable to Savage tier Raids.

It's actually a really cool fight and one I wish wasn't so far away for an adaptation for RK & BE players.

Tyro, a white mage with medica, Vaan if the boss isn't purely physical, Ramza if you are going physical route yourself, and Tidus unless the boss nulls/absorbs water damage - it's actually not the best example I feel.
There are so many specifics to consider for battles currently in the game, that it really isn't that simple to say who would be always around for you. Tyro is probably your guy thanks to wall, so that, at the very least, can free you to do many things depending on what's needed. Have him dance if you can't touch a boss, have him bring some ability for target scores if other characters can't fit it in, etc. Even then, you could just opt to RW wall instead and use someone else over Tyro.

Better take advantage of orbfest to solo/dual level grind while its still around. Gotta put in the effort to get what you want, you know? If you can't do that, then you just can't - no big deal. Do what you can whenever you can play.

I know, I started doing that yesterday, because for the other four days or so I was pitching 5-people teams, but then I realized that it just isn't the best way to level people fast, and so I'm focusing on just Snow and Faris first, and then I'll jump to Aerith and Porom, and so on.

Originally I had the victory pose being the cliche "oh hohoho" but due to how cliche it was I went another route and I really like the thought of a character laughing like that at victory.
Chainspell I wanted to have a potentially big drawback while being potent. Double Mana cost seemed like a good solution.

I'm going full weeaboo with a very anime chinese sword fighter as my next design, and after that, I think I'll do some sort of a robot character; even though Chocoranger was sort of robot-ish.

Finished JS a bit ago, and gotta say that honestly that version is tougher at the end. It ended up dispelling me twice, and even with RW Guardian Mog and native last stand, someone ended up dead. White mage getting confused wasn't helpful in my case, as they killed that character after their last stand kicked in. Was really close to having to S/L that run, as everyone was on their last legs.

This Apocalypse+ fight for both versions isn't a fun one. However, I felt like they evened each other out in difficulty overall, which is honestly kind of nice.

Idea is that Garland benefits from the boosts from Dark Bargain/Death Throes and Celes' command 2, and you only need Omega Drive at R1 since Chaos uses so much magic (and most of it is single-target, so mitigation). Plus the runic also absorbs the bullshit scripted AoE stop.

Screenshot taken at the worst possible time, but this wasn't nearly as rough as I thought it'd be. Sarah's burst is crazy good and she had no trouble keeping up with Chaos's damage even without wall. Garland with Shout, Dark Bargain and Omega Drive just tore through him whenever he wasn't stopped.

Don't do the burst pot RANK S missions. Only do the moogle and the NRG 1d missions as a general rule.
Learn which stats affect each mission.

In this case, it scales off of MAG and SPR by 50, and off of MP by 40. Try and build up those stats through the roof if you can, focusing more on MAG/SPR (but not neglecting MP).
You should be at 70% for Rank S.
