I thought the queue times were mostly clearing up. Gilgamesh hasn't had a queue over 300 in awhile. Every morning has been 20 in queue and at peak hours it was around 300.

Getting hit and dying to everything Shinryu does I've seen other healers just as bad but SCH players are usually the ones i see eating stupid shit and dying. I've only seen a few decent SCH players in my leveling dungeons. My Doma Castle's had a few really good SCH.

Quite literally what i said, there's no reason to use the ability at all unless Aetherflow is coming off CD and you have spare. If Aetherflow isn't close to CD, why would you ever waste a stack on potential healing, when some retard might eat an AOE and you have to spot heal them. You would never, ever give up your flexibility for potential healing - at some point, maybe.

So it's designed around being a use for spare stacks, which is shit

Which tank class has the least amount of stuff to manage while tanking? I want to level one just so i have a pocket tank in case its needed for friends and whatnot. But i dont want one that has a bunch of buffs or 8 different rotations to deal with. Not looking to tank savage or anything. Just simple dungeons and maybe normal raids in the future if i get comfortable enough with it.

I play SCH for all ARR and mid-HS MSQ, but I no longer find it fun (mostly do to the dps cycle being simplified and the loose of cleric stance dancing). I don't care playing a tank/healer/dps heck I don't even care about how the job is strong. I just want a fun job.

I've been playing SCH as well and have it at 59 and started to level AST instead. I liked SCH but the changes in SB kind of killed it.

Pet is meh, bubbles are meh and cost shitloads of MP, sch dots are pretty worthless especially if using bane. Generally you have to juggle MP heavily or just spam normal heals and do nothing else.

how challenging is the endgame content in this game? dungeons and raids, do they add new ones regularly or will i be doing the same raid for a year between expansions?

None of the healers have 'fun' DPS rotations now so steer clear of them.

SAM is very active. After 62 you'll have a oGCD for every skill
New bard is pretty nice as well.

it has interesting cooldowns, celestial opposition does some pretty ridiculous and cool things while offering versatility, synastry and collective unconscious are both neat ablities, earthly star is also a very fun ability to use properly and rewards preparation, light speed is a good panic button but only to the extent you need it and doesn't allow you to dps anymore efficiently

You'll be doing the same one for 6 months or so. Generally speaking the flagship raids have been challenging enough to require a static to complete the tier (within a reasonable time), with some of the fights being easily puggable and others being a nightmare to do with the unwashed masses. Dungeons are not really considered end-game, they are daily grinds for gear currency. There's been talk about putting in high-end content for 4 man groups, but we don't know anything about it yet. Everything "hard" is currently for an 8 man group. They have put out some very challenging fights over the past couple of years, but if you wanted an average of the difficulty I would said they're on the easier side, with that trend growing stronger over time. Keep in mind that because I'm calling the raids easy that doesn't mean clear rates are high, they are pretty low, but the general community of this game is impossibly inept and have a very casual mindset. They do generally make some visually impressive fights that have good music, so even stuff that's easy can be fun though.

You have to use Third Eye, then get hit. At this point, you have "Open Eyes" which allows to use Merciful Eyes and Seigan.

If you've played FFXI before, it's similar to using Seigan then Third Eye.
