Here. Some details:

-Most people like Merlin and the card is great I don't disagree, but I don't liker her as much currently because at least on this current meta everytime I hit 4pp I need to drop levi and clear
my opponent's followers (usually their turn 1/2/3 if were talking about shadow because most asurely they will ignore Lou or Golem even if summoned them)
-Since I use Levi I use Piercing Rune, since it makes Levi pushes better.
-Lou and Kaleido are great if you're playing versus early "do nothing" decks like haven or dragon or in the mirror match.
-Lou "combo" is pretty bad on turn 4 because if you summon her, bounce and resummon most of the time you will get stuck on 9 cards with no pp to spend, also her stats are mediocre.
-You can replace several cards, something I highly recommend depending on your collection or taste are:
>Snowmans instead of Levi
>Mutagenic Bolt to deal with Dragon
>Fiery Embrace instead of Piercing Rune
>Playing only 1 Merlin seems the standard among many jap decklists
>Secrets of Eramus as cheap removal
>Witchbolt as cheap removal
>Petrification as removal versus Seraph/Ouro/Annoying shit

I use this deck daily in masters and it's pretty effective, have fun and change things you might think are crappy for better stuff.

I always preferred shadow if it was an option and if not, then sword just because I'm most familiar with it ever since otohime was good. This time my choices were forest, haven and rune. I'm scared of T2 rune for the same reason as forest and hate haven in general, but I have literally never played forest so I decided to try it. I think I've only gone 5/5 one other time in almost a year of playing. Did I just get lucky draws or is forest really that good for T2?
