Do gacha games like FGO/GBF have multiplayer or are all of them like FEH where the only interaction between players is friends list and leaderboards to pve content?

I don't even want something like PvP as I know it's retarded to even begin asking for balance in gacha games, but something like co-op where I pick one hero and then get paired up with 3 other people who each control one hero, that sounds like it'd be fun. Naturally it would probably not have too great a rewards because people would bitch non stop at how shit their team mates are for fucking up but it'd be nice to be able to do something for shits and giggles instead of constantly making the best use out of my stamina for progression aka leveling all thes fuckers or getting quests done.

Well if it's too difficult thanks to that they could make bigger maps so each player gets their own squad. Then you can carry everyone with your tiny hands. Like I said I wouldn't suggest the co-op mode ever have high stakes. It'd just be for the cool factor where it's more about being able to play with others and show off your teams and seeing how you adapt to other players moving about in a possibly unpredictable fashion.

Like fuck, you could even make it only playable through co-op crests, and the rewards are super flimsy like badges and crystals and if you want you can choose to play with friendslist instead of randoms.

Like I understand big maps have issues since it's a phone game, but I've always thought the way VC2/3 did it would be a smart method, where you connect two maps via way points so to speak, and since the damn menu at the bottom has so much fucking room adding a button or two for scrolling through the maps would be simple. There's definitely some draw backs to this kinda design, but I still think it's better than relegating to one tiny ass map all the time, and the idea of being able to play and fight battles across numerous fronts (this would also apply to single player naturally) seems cool to me.

The most important thing to me anyway, are concepts that make the game more fun, not rewarding in a materialistic sense. Cause once you connect the two, there's limitations that must be imposed in the name of fairness less you ruin the fun for many people. Since the game is in 2D, there's no real reason mechanics can't be more complex since graphics isn't an issue and FEH is always conservative on SFX unlike GBF/FGO/etc.
