We were getting stomped HARD, enemy team had over twice our kills, our only two Towers were in bot, only reason we were still in the game were they were playing with us, etc. etc. Well they got too greedy trying to end in a flash, and got aced right as they finished our last Nexus Tower.

Remember how I mentioned we had two Towers bot? Well it just so happens there was a large minion wave pulling up. And it also just so happens my TP was up.

They were so shell shocked they couldn't even say anything as I solo won the game, despite talking loads of trash earlier. They all just left without a word like cucks.

Learn to predict Q's. If you can land Q's you can win lane which shouldn't happen as Karthus and is hilarious when it does.

Get yourself some map awareness. That's kind of a general tip but it goes double for Karthus. You can get fed for no reason other than catching out people doing stupid invades and getting ult kills in the early game. Again that's something you should work on for everyone, but it's just more important for Karthus.

Also your ult is a targeted 5-man nuke so keep that in mind. It does a lot of damage and will usually auto-win teamfights in mid to late game unless you're behind or just play the fight really badly.

You're not a roamer. You can roam, but compared to other midlaners you don't.

Always build Liandrys. MPen is one of Karthus' strongest stats due to his base damage (his highest scalings are 60% so mpen is always better than AP). I even build Liandry's second and usually go into a void staff right after, with sorc boots (never go ionian on Karthus this triggers me) you will have 40% mpen with 38 flat which means most squishy targets will have around 0mr against you, which is nice when your ult starts doing 700+ damage.

Ban Katarina. This is important.

That's fallen out of favor as of late. For example Valkrin doesn't run ANY CDR in his runepage and Perkz runs only 2 scaling CDR blues and that's it.

The problem is that CDR only really benefits Karthus' ult and it's better to have, for example, MR to not feed in the laning phase or AP for stronger ults as opposed to just having maybe one or two extra ults in the game.

DFT's damage is higher but it works over time, TLS has a higher immediate burst so it makes sense that for Soraka you'll miss TLS, now you know that it's not guaranteed until you can poke her a bit. Not as consistent as most hypercarries, but his passive is so good that his Q alone does over half of the HP bar of squishies, he melts tanks too.

Scales amazingly into late thanks to her %max hp true damage

Ult is extremely good, passive is nice too, very ult depended unlike most lategame carries.

Melts tanks, has extremely high DPS as the cost of burst, AoE rocket crits slaughter entire teams

Highest DPS potential in the game, mixed damage too so hard to itemize against.

I did not add Caitlyn, Orianna, or Fiora because either their DPS is too low, they dont have to the tools to hardcarry as hard as the others, or in the case of Fiora, its all single target and she has bad teamfighting.

I was considering Yasuo and he could perhaps be classed as one, its open to debate.
I didnt add Tristana either because even though she has great range, good DPS and okay mobility she just can't match the other hypercarries.

When will we get an actual LORE event instead of this lazy VS event where you have to pay shekels to actually have a good degree of participation?
The Bilgewater event was fucking GOAT, but instead of learning from their mistakes, they just decided to drop anything similar altogether.
I want more actual lore skins like Captain MF instead of the same boring e-sports followed by neon futuristic skins every year

I dont think Tristana who is a classic hypercarry in her current state matched the bill. Her DPS is too low, her cooldowns too high all she has going for her is the range imo. Let me know why you think otherwise.

Viktor is good lategame, but not a hypercarry. His cooldowns are too high for consistent DPS, besides his low Q cooldown and he will get outmatched by others.
