Is it true that you get less SR if you switch heroes during the match because SR gain is gauged by how well you do on a certain hero but these stats are cleared every time you switch? I saw someone mention it a couple of threads ago but can't find any official Blizzard source.

It would be pretty BS to reward people being stubborn and punish people who are flexible and switching to counter/fit the teamcomp.

Some part of me is beginning to like Nu Hog.

One shots were fun, but watching people panic after you hook them is pretty funny. Especially the characters who have already blown their movement ability or whose only real option is to back pedal and pray.

Well I was completely dominating as 76 in a match earlier, was on fire the vast majority of the game, gold everything, never died, all that but then we lost a tank and the enemy team went Genji and Tracer at the very end which made our healer's life very difficult so I switched to Winston for the last couple of minutes to protect them and we ended up winning the match.

I got 18 SR despite the fact my stats were definitely way above average and I regularly get like 30-40 for a win at this rank. I think it's true and I think if I had stayed on 76 I would have gotten way more.

Disable chat OR enable chat but change the volume to 0. 99 % of all communication is just shit.
POSITIONING!!!
Know who is carrying your team.
Rez as often as you can.
If everyone has full health damage boost.
Don'those your pistol. You can't heal and your dpi is so high as mercy main that your aim is just bad.
If you want you can use your pistol while you rez for more Dps.
Try to avoid Los with enemies. HIDE every time you can.

AND now the biggest secret how to get to gm, KNOW YOUR ENEMY. You have to know what they can do and you have to know where they are. As a Mercy main you know that a genji ult means he is behind you and you must try to either reach a save spot or run away from your team. As Mery you are target no1 for a good team so expect every ult is against you.

Did an experiment for these placements. I wanted to see how retarded people are if I dont go on the mic and tell them how to play. Normally im 76+ flex.

I only played Mercy. 3 Wins 7 loss. 2340.

I recorded every game.

Main problems:

>Overextending.

Wayyyy to much. Even during last 30 seconds, they let a Winston touch the payload and push it 1 meter because they were too busy deathmatching at enemy spawn.

>Duo Queue snipers.

Hanzo and Widow. Not even an Ana. Absolutely terrible.

>Last minute swaps.

Literally the worst thing. Reaper getting fucked by Pharah *NO MERCY EITHER* and screams that Pharah is raping us. He then picks 76 during the last 30 seconds.

Was impossible for me to get more than a 2 man rez. Team would split up from the payload leaving me on it by myself. 2 people fuck off and die, then another 2, far away from each other.

This isn't call of duty where there are 4 "classes" of shooters and its done. They're slowly but surely adding new heroes, and altering current heroes based on community feedback, of balance and developer review of statistics. See most recently reaper and roadhog.

The game survived last year because it was fun to play, not skins. Nobody plays CS;GO for skins and paint on guns.

Is it possible to play as other heroes on competitive or are you forced to play as the better ones? And do you keep golden guns or does it reset every season?

And depending on the character, the map, the role your team has, the enemy team comp, your team comp, the enemy team's skill, and your team's skill, it may be a severe uphill battle to pick that character so you're going to have to switch off anyway.

if so, doesn't that mean you're actively being punished for changing roles if your team needs it? if you play dps then your healer switches and you go healer to fill in, you're going to be worse off when you lose and gain a lot less if you win. the fuck's the point of that?
