I seriously doubt Echoes need to sell much to recoup it's costs. They had existing bases in the form of Gaiden and Fate's engine and they released the game after 3 months of promotion (compared to 6~ for Fates?).

You can run a team of all glass, but it can be quite painful in arena and in Tempest floors with non-aggressive AI to not have a lure/soak/tank who can bait and preferably kill. I did it for a while and you definitely have to put Azura to work making your glass cannons poke and retreat to safety.
