This is actually a lot stronger than it seems.
Not summoning itself in defense position and no hard OTP leads to some silly states. Pic related. Bug Signal has a hard OTP so you don't end up with three material'd Rhinocebus, only two boosted by a Brilli-ant (not pictured) and with 1-3 material. Or you can leave them as Scaradiators to negate effects.
And even if you don't have a Ledybug/Centibit to search out a second Hornetwork, you can search out Crashbug Road, SS the Hornet by putting your Xyz into def (which procs Corebage's attach!), then use it as a target for Road to keep the train rolling.

It's also worth noting you don't even need to target a Digital Bug to summon it. This can be a tribute engine, can fuel Links, and there's nothing in its clause saying you can't Synchro with it.

So what's the verdict? Do Digital Bugs deserve this? Should it have some restrictions? I also don't want to program these 20+ card archtypes without coordination or a wide enough interest.

I feel conflicted here

If i drop silent magician, i would lose a maindeck beater with some high attack
If i drop galaxy soldier, i'd have a mediocre turn 1 board
If i drop out the staples i put (raigeki, soul charge, burial from a different dimension and the trap holes for rafflesia), i might be more prone to not make a comeback because this deck SUCKS at making comebacks, and if i add more staples like ash blossom, i can brick with stupidass handtraps because this shit has happened to me and it sucks. And no, adding pot of desires is a suicide as much as i'd love to draw more cards, there are times when i loop Rella and draw my entire deck.
And no i didn't added sphere mode in this deck because shitting out infinity and rafflesia is better.

I don't know if it's as bad, but under the new rules Crystal Beasts cannot activate Crystal Abundance, their best card, if they control either of the Crystal pendulums. Also if they control both pendulums, they can only have 2 Crystal Beasts in the S/T zone before they lock themselves out of activating spell/trap cards.
