There is no saving it. The game has been in a patch work state since at least GvG.

They quickly and poorly put in Standard because they finally became aware that the game would be impossible to balance if it were all wild. They made the horrible decision to keep the classic set around, where standard decks were 24/30 standard cards. They made the horrible decision to nerf classic cards. They made their only smart decision of moving cards to wild instead of nerfing them, but didn't fix the cards they nerfed. They are now trying to make f2p a bit better, but it's too late and Hearthstone is already known as the jewiest card game on the market. They stopped doing adventures because they realized that they didn't have enough cards for standard, but they still went the decision to make standard anyways. They added in brawls but repeat them constantly.

The list goes on and on. Hearthstone is fucked. It's gonna keep trucking on for a while because of the blizzard tag, but it's already gone into WoW mode. An expansion will come out, playerbase will spike, then drop down lower before, repeat this until they decide to stop.

The first is ore, which is like gold. It's used to buy packs.

Second is scrap, which is dust.
