Because in Marie's route, Ren is Marie's champion. He's fighting for her world, that's 95% of his motivation, and the physical form of his Atziluth displays that. He's following Mercurius's script to a T, and as such, this is actually a weaker manifestation of his Atziluth than the Rea route one.

In Rea's route, he's his own champion and that too is displayed. He's fighting for what he wants, all the threads cut and the curtains pulled away. This is the strongest form of his Atziluth, and it's shown by the image of Marie being replaced by the stopped clocks.
