There's not that much to nerf.
Axemen work as intended, is frost what is bonkers. But they won't rework frost anyway.
Bears will/should be 5, but knowing CDPR they'll put them back at 4 + some extra nerf like not wounding spawned units anymore.
Shieldmaidens are balanced. If you eat/discard one, the card becomes bad. Really bad. On their own, they are 5/6/7, which is shit compared to the average 9.
They can be a tempo play, but every faction does that and even more effectively. They also need a condition, while the other musters don't.
Hjalmar is fine.
The other cards are either decent like Lugos or Coral or memetier, like Vajborn and Kambi.
Or, of course, just bad, like Birna or Cerys. Because Cerys is shit and everyone knows it.

SK and NR are fundamentally broken factions for one simple reason - both play solitaire instead of a duel game. Their mechanics require very little interaction with the opponent so mostly it's a one sided game of try-to-break-their-combo. This factions therefore can be either overpowered (fat enough to play solitaire comfortably), or utterly shit. Gwent was designed by monkeys.

Their condition is extremely easy to meet thanks to like a thousand ways to inflict damage around which skellige decks are being built right now, and the fact that they can actually be sort of countered by two golds one of which is somewhat popular in this meta doesn't mean they're suddenly fine. That's kind of the case with all of Gwent though famalam. You either go for a disruption deck or a solitaire combo/point engine deck. The meat and potatoes of the gameplay is figuring out which your opponent is running and playing yours in the best way to counter that. Even solitaire deck mirrors have optimal ways to play them.

Disruption: Spellatael, weather, spy nilf, to a lesser degree Borkh and chicken decks
Solitaire: Every other deck in the game because having one lock and maybe one or two pieces of removal doesn't count

Same in second and you don't really care about third, because playing the muster cards in the third round is fucking stupid and the reason why I hate the mulligan every round.

I crafted Gigni first and I think it's incredibly useful. Especially if you're facing a lot of Xmen. Renew was my second craft and it's helpful to play double Geralt or Triss.

If you want to play NR Dandelion is a must. Woodland spirit is pretty good for monsters. Ciri dash is the worst of the three but she is neutral.

Woodland spirit is good in fog monster decks and decent in all other monster decks.

Ciri Dash is a fun meme if you have a deck that thins itself drastically. Spy/mill nilf, discard Skellige, mulligan squirrel, etc.

I would recommend a toss up between Dandy and leshen depending on which faction you like more. Ciri Dash is fine and is a fun card but the other two are more gud-gittin.

Elder's good in a few respects. If you're running Borkh you can use him to put points behind a gold border, eating to take things out of weather, and general purpose eating to embiggen your nekkers. You deserve being bullied for milling Eredin because frost decks aren't too shabby.

Honestly though the deck seems too weird. 3 vrans seems like much since you're not running behemoths so the only purpose of them is to eat shit and get fat so an ekkimara can eat them. The archgryphons don't feel too good since weather shouldn't bother you that much with the exception of egg popping, which they won't protect you against anyway. Grave hag is decent in decks that run behemoths because your graveyard gets bloated with dead spiders but without them I I wouldn't think she's as swingy.

Hjalmar's the strongest of the 3. Cerys only goes into meme overdrive if you're also running Operator so you've got 4 queensguard. Wild boar is good but Hjalmar is better overall and Cerys is better if you're doing 4 queensguard and worse if not.

He actually doesn't. Those are some of the most reliable ways to get his buffs, but since every NR should run Reinforcements that helps, and most NR decks run shit peddlers which help since you know what cards you have in play/in your hand and can slap buffs on other copies still in your deck.

Hjalmar is useful in all of them. Cerys is only useful in QG, and even then is sometimes dropped. Wild Boar is great with Boats/Mork but less useful elsewhere.

I'm trying out NR for the first time, and I'm a little confused about how Kaedweni Siege Support (the one that buffs all units played) works. If I play one and then play a Kaedweni Sergeant (the one that buffs all units of the same power), does the Sergeant buff units before or after it gets buffed? Similarly, will a Blue Stripes Commando get pulled before or after the buff takes place? I'm running into a lot of instances where I expect a Commando to come out and it doesn't happen.
