Okay, so I have the copy of the game from the megalink in the pastebin. It says (PATCHED) but the pastebin says to apply the patch from the fan translation site.

Without applying said patch, the game launches and appears to be in English (well, mostly, some of the menu text isn't, but I can navigate my way into playing the game and the in-game menus are in English).

If I apply the patch linked separately, the game no longer launches in ePSXe.

Is the version in the mega link fully patched already, or will it stop being in English at some point, or what?

Yeah, I didn't truly get hype for this game until later trailers. The reveal trailer from December 2015 seems really half-baked in comparison. Listen to the voice acting - it's so stilted and awkward and generally poor-quality.

Fortunately, the gameplay we've seen and later trailers seem much more like what we know and love. The dialogue in the E3 demo is great and took me right back to the PS2 days. So I'm thinking that first trailer was made by a marketing team rather than by Project ACES themselves.
