It really sucks when someone ragequits at the end of match. I just got done playing a Dominion match where this guy's team was breaking and he was the last one alive so he quit causing everyone else on my team and all but one guy on his team to disconnect from the match. I'm just glad I got to finish the match but it sucked for everybody else.

Peacekeeper - Best lights in the game, best heavies, best mobility, best dodges, fastest zone (technically), can punish any attack in the game with insane damage, heavy soft feint into guardbreak is fucking obnoxious. Just needs an all around rework.
Warlord - High health pool, best mixup in the game, best ledging in the game, best turtle in the game, best guardbreak in the game, heavies have armor and can be feinted 100ms faster than all others. Needs serious nerfs.

A+ Tier
Raider - Punishes do ridiculous damage, eats stamina better than any other character, can punish nearly any attack with dodge guardbreak, Stunning Tap mixup out of nearly all of his attacks is tedious as fuck to deal with. Needs some nerfs to his dash guardbreak and Stunning Tap.

A Tier
Centurion - Fuck what anybody says. Best punishes in the game, highest stamina pool in the game, tracking out the fuck on all of his attacks, soft feint out of heavies makes him a pain in the ass to deal with. Needs some reworking for 1v1, nerfs in 4v4.
Lawbringer - Mixups on block, great punishing, high health pool. In a decent spot all around, shove on block is just a badly thought out idea though.

B+ Tier
Warden - After his nerf he's definitely not as dominant as before. But his punishes are still good, Shoulderbash is still wonky in tracking/punishing, and he's very solid all around.

Shinobi - After the kick nerf, he's not overwhelmingly good at offense. But he still has the strongest light attacks in the game, good punishes, and insane mobility. Ranged moves can't be punished by a lot of characters, needs some work done in that regard.
Nobushi - Single most damaging attack in the game, amazing range, Hidden Stance can punish things that normally couldn't be. However, her zone keeps her leaps and bounds better than what she should be. Absolutely dominant in teamfights and nearly unreactable by unlocking and flickering. Needs some serious looks at her zone, other than that she's mediocre.
Orochi - Good movement and damage, deflecting an attack guarantees at least a top heavy, zone is near unpunishable because of the new flicker speed. Needs a rework to some of his moves.

B- Tier
Shugouki - Great punishes, armor allows trades to fuck up characters with weak offense, guard change buff makes him an even better turtle. Needs a little but of love in the offense department, but all around a pretty meh character.

C+ Tier
Berserker - Decent damage, good side lights, amazing out of stamina punishes. Chains are a death sentence and game plan in general is just very predictable.

C Tier
Valkyrie - Mixups are predictable and easy to punish, poor damage, slow heavies, no openers, shit guardbreak, runs out of stamina way too fast, low health pool. Needs some serious changes to her Shield Tackle and deflect to be anywhere near viable.
Kensei - Great damage and range. Incredibly predictable mixups and openers, slow heavies, shit mobility. Needs some serious buffs.

C- Tier
Conqueror - Shit damage, shit range, shit speed. Only good at punishing with side dash Shield Bash. Needs work sooner than any other character.

It's honestly a pretty fun game. MOST of the massive balance issues have been sorted out but there are still some things that need to be fixed. The biggest one that just got patched was guard change penalty speed now being uniform across all characters instead of some characters being slower. It was a stupid idea from the start and let PK light spammers rule the world.

If it's on sale and you want something to play I'd say buy it

get good at parrying, against an opponent that likes to feint you should only try to parry lights. anything you don't parry, block -> shove into light. if you're opponent is dodging the shove lights, try gbing after the shoves instead. don't shove / long arm out of neutral, you will be punished. if you want to sneak some damage in, your top lights are pretty fast but try not to overdo it and get parried.

Range means nothing in 1v1s because the ranged attacks are easy as shit to dodge/parry/tech. In fact if you don't use your ranged attacks from max range you risk eating a heavy for it. Mobility is nice, but it really does nothing but help you run away or put space between your opponent, which doesn't do much since ranged attacks are so easy to counter.

First you need to understand what Full Block Cancel is.

By using Full Block Cancel, done by pressing the Full Block button during the startup of an attack, you can do one of a few options.

>heavy attack
>heavy shield bash (basically useless)
>zone attack (basically useless)

>side dodge into shield bash (your best bet most of the time)
>let it go into Full Block like a madman

By doing this, you're making your offense pretty imposing against a lot of characters. It's best as a defensive tool though. Conqueror recovers faster than any character in the game from parries, so can't be punished on some stuff he does in specific matchups. Cancelling into Full Block is also better than feinting for one reason, there's no recovery frames when you cancel, meaning you can tech guardbreak attempts. This practically shuts down any offense related to guardbreaks.

The Conq keeps bashing and even though I side-step I can't gb him. If I try to bash him, he somehow dodges it 7/10 times and I get bashed again for light. If I try to win with full charge bash, he ends up pushing me.

As a Rep 10 Cent main, I would accept any nerf to the character if they would let me take the paint off of the right shoulder.

The fact that there isn't a 'No Paint' option for one of the shoulders is infuriating and is probably my biggest gripe with the character.

What the fuck are even Tier 4 feats of Vanguard.
Raider's Tier 4 is trash and Unblockable on Kensei doesn't even make sense considering his weapon would break down to tiny pieces.
Unblockable Should be given to Warden or Raider considering one has a superior made blade, and other has raw strength.
Morale Booster should be Raider thing since he's LEGENDARY meme so everyone just gets bonus attack at their presence.
Literally rework slippery.
