Yes, you could do the R1>SGS combo before the DLC with Sage Ring+2 and since Old Moonlight has the same cast animation it works as well. Old Moonlight does slightly more damage on the full combo due to the projectile.

People who have more knowledge than I do have tested it, and there's also the fact that DaS2 has an entirely different engine than DaS1/3. Some things are bound to work differently even if we didn't know the full extent of it.

The mod itself actually changes a dagger into a greataxe, so they'd see me running around with a dagger while I would be running around with a greataxe.

Also forgot to mention that a lot of WAs don't work on certain movesets. Like the Ringed Knight Straight Sword's Stance WA, it can only be used on straight swords, and Gael's GS WA can only be used on Greatswords, etc. since the values are tied to the moveset value and will result in something else entirely.

Typically, whenever someone raises their arm with a sword in hand and then begins to bring it forward to slash with it, they just swing the sword instead of holding awkwardly above their heads mid-swing

It's like those classic bully characters who threaten to punch you by raising their fist and jerking it forward a little. You never know just *when* they're finally gonna attack you. You're either too ready for it (which you'll get hit for when they catch your roll), not ready enough (which you'll get hit for as you didn't react to it), or you try and hit them first (which you'll probably get hit for when they decide to use the version of the animation that isn't delayed) or you just run away (which you'll get hit for when they decide to continue into a combo that has them basically sliding around after you as though they're on skates).

My enjoyment of DS3 increased a lot when I started playing it DeS-style(i.e only level start bonfire and boss bonfires are allowed) and started skipping the shit in levels I don't need(i.e I can skip Cornyx and Irina if I'm not doing Pyro or Faith) because the most tedious shit in Dark Souls 3 earlygame comes from trying to literally EVERYTHING in Undead Settlement / Road of Sacrileges instead of just getting what you need and then getting the fuck out.

The bosses are programmed to react to player's actions because otherwise the player's heal would be wayyy op. The older Souls games are really easy because you can bait the dumb a.i fairly easily and get sippy breaks.

495 AR two handed at 26/40 seems okay, but I don't know what miracles would be make the most of 40 faith. Too low for offensive miracles and anything over 30 seems a little excessive if I just want support+healing.
