so with the new clothing I started playing with outfits and decided to use the coloring mod to switch around colors and came up with a few things.

now I like the white shirt Super 17 design as it mixes my old XV1 look that was the GT Trunks coat with the nice dress pants/shoes with the new XV2 look i had of blue/orange super 17 (these descriptions for those who know my CaC already)

Saiyan CaCs getting the SSJ3 was one of the advertising points of the game, so if they were to put the SSJG or the SSJGSSJ in, we would know pretty quickly.

There's also the fact that with XV1 we thought it was just the eventual replacement for DBO in the timeline, and DBO was canon so hey. But then before XV2 even really got off the ground, Trunks' power and capabilities and the overall storyline in Super diverged so goddamn hard despite little winks and nods like the Time Breaker logo on Black's time ring, that XV and DBO are both effectively non-canon as hell now unless they pull the excuse that it was just a second Future Trunks' timeline those games draw from.

That basically gives them liberty to do whatever the fuck now rather than try to constrain themselves, while still allowing for things like that power-up Krillin pulled off so that not all races pale in comparison to Super Saiyan. Hell, add in Majin absorptions for Parallel Quests / the Majin possessed power form, or the Red-Eyed Namekian state and such for more diversity.

Players can't see your graphical mods unless they have them installed at the same time. It means you're never going to see transformation mods unless they too have them, but then the only way you'd reliably get that is by fighting only friends who share your modlist - and I wouldn't trust taking anything stat-changing into online battles against other players.

This also has weird side-effects with colorable clothes mods, as whatever values you last put into color customization linger in the background regardless of what you're wearing now. Which can result in some really tacky ass colors on other players because they don't have the mod and don't realize their previous choices lingered for those who do have the mod. If they have the mod too, though, then players will see eachother's color choices just fine.

If you're using the new transformations pack and X2M, I guess the code for transformations doesn't carry as something really applicable between two players. You could look at his character movelist and see if his transformation says Unknown Skill.

Its mostly the fact that its slow, you're leaving yourself completely vulnerable in exchange for some amount of ki that would be just as easy, and safer, to acquire through hitting your opponent. There are situations where you can safely make it work but there's probably better alternatives.

Not really a guide, but basically, grab your hex editor and char_model_spec.cms and then:
1) Goto offset 28B8, which is Yamcha (/YMC/YMC)
2) Change this to whoever you want, which is Turles (/TLS/TLS)
3) Goto offset 1DC8, replace 8A2A with B528
4) Goto offset 1DD4, replace 7E2A with B528
5) Goto offset 1DD8, replace 7E2A with B528
Save and presto, your HUM will act like Turles. If you ever want to change it again just replace the 28B8 offset, don't have to do the rest anymore.

This doesn't get you the animations though so it'll look weird, you have to extract data.cpk, find the character, and rename and put the ean and player files in HUM. I went and got Turles for you. These aren't meant for CaC so shit can sometimes not align right.

I think it's less a problem of opportunity, and more of motivation. People didn't really care at that time because they believed it required too much effort. I don't know if you tried on Discord the first time, but I believe you would have more luck there since it is easier to share pictures and backstories. But why don't you start by using what is already in the imgur? You can ask the users in the discord to reuse their info on the website. There is also a pastebin there with the backstories of many cacs.

But another thing that I believe played a role is that the main motivation for people to use the imgur is the incentive of getting potential art by sharing reference material. With a website however, this is less convenient for the artists, since imgur is made specifically for sharing pics and is thus better suited for it.

Okay so I used a CMS editor I found to get the moveset swaps working with the added God transformations.

Now the new problems I've found is that the guy who made the New Transformations mod has taken a lot of liberty with some of them, and gave them special animations which completely fucks with my moveset swap.

SS1 and SS2 work beautifully with Turles' moveset on my CaC, but SSJ3 walks in place and looks all weird. So do SSG and SSB because the mod author intentionally changed stance animations around for them.

No idea how I will go about removing this, but I'll try. Funny and frustrating at the same time.

Currently it is mid update atm so the old version won't work. (the dlc breaks it)
Basically you submit your save to Flair in the discord, they take your character out and make it into a combined mod with all the others.
And then your CaC appears on the character select screen. The pack also add transformations seen above so people can dick around with Super Saiyan Rose or whatever too.
If you and someone else online has the pack you can use the characters together and see the transformations.
You can also bring your and other people's CaCs on PQs and such.
