Razergore, Vael, Chromag, Nef are all more difficult than anything in MC. Vael is a bit of a gear check and needs great coordination between the tanks, Razergore you might need some dedicated kiters for.

Chromag varies wildly in difficulty depending on what colour breaths he uses and how often he hits key raid members with bronze. One stunned hunter at the wrong moment or a missed tranq shot will instantly mean a raid wipe.

Nef is much easier once everyone has ony cloaks and holy water, and more of a test of people paying attention to class calls than anything else.

The suppression room is a pain in the ass and actually worse than the similarly themed tunnel in AQ40.

Expect to wipe shitloads on Razorgore until you get it down.
Vael is piss easy. Trash after vael will be a few wipes.
Suppression room + broodlord is really painful (every wipe means another big clear) until your raid has it down.
Trash between Firemaw and Chromaggus is some more wipes.
Chromaggus isn't hard but usually takes a few wipes. Same with Nefarian but slightly harder.


It's not hard compared to later rads, but the big thing is those silly mistakes you can get away with in MC cause wipes in BWL.

Not much harder. The bosses are more interesting, but it's nothing compared to modern WoW. You might wipe a couple times doing Razorgore, Chromaggus, or Nefarian, but it shouldn only take 2-3 raids to clear the entire instance.

For hunters mara nets ~25-60G per hour, and on Anathema you can now make more than that just by farming herbs or whatever because potions are so expensive now.

Mages can farm BRD for up to ~100G per hour.

Also, I've heard people say that there are multiple pre bis items, and that just because one item is technically better than another, you should still go for the "worse" one just because the better one takes way too long to get.

Currently I have an Inventor's Focal Sword in the bank, and someone here said that pairing that up with the Spirit of Aquementas is good, so I was working on getting that too, but I need to be level 54 to finish that quest-line.

The craftable greens are still good at 60: frostweave gloves, azure shoulders, brightcloth cloak, dreamweave circlet and star belt, you won't replace them for a long while, also robe of the winter night. Get focal sword and aquementas, they're your best in slot.

For leveling use just stam and int gear though, SP is largely useless; prioritizing SP assumes you're not dead or out of mana. Also SP is useless for AoE spells since it's 1/4 effect.

I just checked a guide quickly and most of the stuff you'd want isn't out yet yeah. The bloodvine set which comes out in ZG will be BiS for a long time so that should be your focus then, but on Elysium you can pretty much just look for any decent +spell damage gear and that'll do for being useful in MC.

Also make sure to get the addon called 'Decursive' when you start raiding, because decursing is all you'll be doing for some fights.

You often won't get a feel for how a class really plays until you've hit L10-20 or so depending on the class, so give it until then to decide if you want to swap over to a different one instead.

Skills are expensive and you don't need to buy all of them, just get the ones you use most from L20-40ish so you can afford a mount faster at L40.

Gathering professions are better to get then crafting professions, and the only truly useful profession for while you level is first aid for people who aren't clothie healers.

Every hybrid class is actually a healer in raids.

Hunters, Warlocks, Mages, Druids are the easiest to level. Warriors are the hardest and Priest/Paladins are the most dull.

Warlock is the better choice then if you find it about as fun to play. Hunters might have one of the coolest quest chains in the game, but they also have a really hard time getting a spot in raids because there are so many of them fighting for spots and each raid really only needs a couple of them. Not to mention that hunter tier gear scales terribly in AQ.

Meanwhile warlock gear scales amazingly in later raids and a raid can always accommodate having plenty of them, especially in MC where extra banishes are always useful.
