Everyone seems to assume the tattoos are black and dress purple but all we really know is that they're dark. even his eyes could apply for the same rule.

More like everyone assumes it's dark purple because that's the royal color and the color of the ruins. It's the color both of his parents wear in some form so it fits the theme.

Asgore's robes are a different design. The delta rune goes across the entire robe instead of being used as an emblem in the center. It's pretty clear that Asriel's robe more closely resembles what his mom wears.

The game has a large emphasis on verisimilitude, and people only worry about others when there's a clear break in routine. The dogs immediately worry about the other dogs because they always go to Grillby's during break for their poker game. The dogs immediately worry about Sans missing because he always shows up at Grillby's multiple times a day. Undyne immediately worries about Papyrus because he always answers his phone, but it's unlikely anyone Snowdin would immediately worry because Papyrus could just be out working on his puzzles. In the dark depths of the extended laboratory, the Doctor made his rounds to make sure everything is in order. Wingdings faced at a pad he was holding and checking boxes as he passed the rooms. Next up was passing by the chambers of his two artificial Monsters. The more homicidal one was still locked in her containment, to his relief. It consisted of several well-sealed containment units, to make sure she doesn't leave, fall for whatever poor soul she finds and starts murdering everyone around them. But upon passing the other door frame, he was left confused for a moment. The little play-pretend airport he had installed for Tsundereplane was empty. Only when he entered her hall did he spot her, high up between the metal bars she wasn't supposed to rest at. "Are you all right up there?"

"Why would you wanna know?", she snapped back. Being snappy was sort of her habit.

The upper ends of Wingdings' eye-sockets narrowed down. "Is there some sort of reason you're up there?"

She hesitated, gasped silently and then finally responded with a caught tone in her voice. "No!"

With a little more input on another extending keyboard, it gave him the footage he needed. Not good, the compartment lid on Tsundereplane's back side was gathering a little rust. With an organic Monster, he wouldn't worry, but this he couldn't just let be. Quickly he spurted onto the little airstrip, to a control panel at it's end and pulled one of the levers.

Flashes of blue lightning shot from blue rod up to strike and attach Tsundereplane. Under cries of pain, some an act, some not an act, a grip of pure electricity dragged her down to the floor, where Wingdings hurried to the cupboard to fetch a rug and some vinegar he kept for occasions such as this. Grunts of disapproval and whimpers of embarrassment came from the plane, as he walked up to her to get to work.

If you pick the same pie flavor after a reset, Toriel mentions how she always seemed to know a few things about the kids that fell down to the point that it was like meeting old friends. Asgore's reaction to being told he's killed you multiple times already is to nod sadly. Determination is a physical substance human souls have naturally, and Flowey mentions he lost the ability to save because your determination is greater than his.

While not outright stated, these facts give good reason to believe the other humans had time travel powers as well. And that Asgore beat the shit out of them until they gave up. What a badass.

INCORRECT. Each kid had Determination and timeline manipulation. Determination is not a soul trait like Patience or Bravery.

Determination is what allows Human Souls to persist after death. The Amalgamates and Flowey were created with Determination extracted from those 6 human souls. Toriel comments on feeling deja-vu around them. If those kids did NOT have DT and Resets, then we'd have a MAJOR plothole on our hands.

The items Frisk can find belonged to the children, and one set can be found in the ruins. Did this kid just give up at the first monster or did Asgore teleport his way in there to kill them? Not very determined in that case.

Plus, it's kind of lame to think that the other kids had their own unique traits + determination, why even give them different names in that case? Determination is inherent in every human, its why they need the souls to break the barrier. But having determination by itself doesn't necessarily mean they can quicksave 9the amalgama. Determination, the will to keep living, the resolve to change fate, is present in large doses within every Human Soul, and it allows them to persist after death indefinitely. Human's physical matter-composed bodies can handle it, unlike Monster bodies, which are mostly magic and attuned to their souls. Boss Monsters seem to possess enough Determination for their Souls to persist after death for a little while. Undyne appears to possess large amounts of Determination as well, enough to become The Undying. The ONLY color ever associated with Determination is golden yellow, like the Save Points.

Each of the 6 souls are ascribed a "trait". Patience, Bravery, Integrity, Perseverance, Kindness, and Justice. This trait exists alongside their determination, which they all share. And when you think about it, their Traits require Determination as well. To be patient, to be brave. To have integrity, to persevere. To be kind, to be just.
