When JP buffed (see: doubled the power of) hybrid moves, they left his unbuffed. The next day they ve him a piddly 160% increase to his multiplier (and made it AoE)

His self sacrifice move now grants Baraeroga and 3-turn 80% reraise to the target, and he gets autorefresh plus some other worthless buffs (autobrave/faith).
It just wasn't enough to save him from mediocrity

TMR bonus rewards are tied to trust percent, the higher amount the more you get. 100% units have a 100% chance of a drop, 50% units have 50%...etc.

Your zidane is the highest you've ever had a TM before, so it's also the highest chance per run you've ever had. It's also tied to base rarity, but anything above 2* base is roughly equal (there's no measurable boost from 5* bases).
Free/raid units are calculated like 1* bases, so those thancreds are all sellable.

You see those items on the bottom of your unit's status screen? Thats the tmr or truat master reward. Its the main grind of this game. To pop that off your character and make it usable, you need to earn 100% trust mastery with that unit. This sound fine and all, until you find out that you earn trust mastery in increments of 0.1% at a rate of once every ten missions. That 10,000 runs on the cheapest nrg mission, the first levels of earth shrine. A fucking grinding hell that you shouldnt worry about for a while. Balthier is an upgrade to Olive in every fathomable way.

Rasler is a chain monster and amazing tank at the same time, his TM is the best tank materia.

Ashe is a chain monster and one of the best mages in the game. She's indispensable at bloody moon, and is genuinely great in most contexts.

Vaan 6* is a chain monster, the first true poverty chainer. He also has the only stop resist move in the game, for what it's worth in arena.

Penelo is great for a 5* max. But still penelo.
