If stuff like drill warrior, psyframe lords and practically anything that "removes" itself from the field but comes back from anywhere but the extra deck returns to main monster zones, why the fuck are people paranoid about Link summoning killing synchros?

We fucking have Soul Charge and De-Synchro, and we still have Norden and Level eater so there's more toolboxing for synchro which means that you could be scaling up synchros and shit and then Soul charge one last time to summon a quasar, or alternatively, pull a yugioh4realmen and use quasar in the last moment while carrying yourself in the duel by using Drill Warrior and shit. Worse that can happen for synchros under link rules is that Ultimaya Tzolkin is no longer splashable in everything because you summon Tzolking and then what, you already occupied your EMZ.

Xyz aren't that hurt because most of the time, specially r4nk degeneracy which is basically a "oh i'm against this, let me dig up my r4nk toolboxing rub rub rub oh here's what i wanted" mindset and never something beyond that, i guess geargias can no longer flood the field with GGX's and Karakuris, what a shame. Thank god its going to kill Bahamut Shark being where it shouldn't be though.

And for fusions, oh for fuck's sake, fluffals and other fusion archetypes already put the mindset that the fusion players will violate you three times if he has the chance, and they can do it with one single monster, or in fluffals case, loop kraken and sabre tooth while Tiger pops everything, and then there's Leo Dancer but only one faggot cares itt cares about that deck anyways.

The only thing affected by link summoned is pendulums and judging how Arc-V managed to reach the literal bottom rating of anime in japan, made a couple of Voice Actors quit the industry, costed them money, stained the field mat with those pointy arrows and were the result of the most degenerate deck, EmEm. Personal opinion, i don't deem meta decks cancer except stunshit, and considering the TCG loves stunshit so much they actually brought back imperial order and gave paleozoics absolutely no hits in the banlist, we're entering a route of stunshit.

The only time a meta deck wasn't cancer was when it wasn't about messing with the player's plays, either it was about locking your opponent, be stunshit or handloops or locking your opponent from special summoning or some shit, basically, intensive disruption or a deck that you cannot stop and will remove your entire board and keep going because it was the time when we didn't had Hard OPT or has a fuckton of consistency, it cannot enter in minus city and if it did, it had a secondary card to workaround the minuses (super rej in Dragon Rulers) or being a combination of all of above. And i really can't name the time when a meta wasn't like this besides the slowass old school formats like skull beatdown or goat control but god damn i hate looking back to these two.

The only thing i like about dueling mustard peas turbo is that they don't run dimensional barrier, which means my kitties can't be stopped 100%.

How could I go about making this deck better? I really like Heavy Dust Storm, since it can get rid of Boss Rush when I'm in a pinch, and Pulse Bomb helps prevent OTKs. Forbidden Chalice is good for giving me an extra inch in case Boss Rush isn't on the field, so I don't lose a B.E.S. Windwitches have a pretty good engine to set up my field and bide time with Crystal Wing in case I don't get Terraforming or the field itself. Invoked works great with the B.E.S. monsters, too.

But why would you be able to activate a normal spell in during the end phase, and not say mirror force? And yes I know that activating mirror force in the end phase makes little to no sense. But I don't really get how activating something like dark hole would make any more sense.

Since when could Spell Speed 1 cards be activated outside of the main phase?

Unless some other card forces it to activate. In which case the condition is already being disregarded.
