bad campers are hated because they make their team weak, give free kills, are no fun to team with. Good campers are hated because they constantly spawn kill or control the middle of the map so that you can't go fast until they're all dead.

Spawns are absolutely fucked on most maps. Hell you just saw Ethereal get spawn killed by a reaper warpfall in that vid. Hide on a sloped roof and get 12 kills, then the spawn point moves, rise and repeat. An experieced player knows where to look for spawn campers, but that may not make up for the countless frags he gets. Even good players can not do much about being satcheled the moment they appear. The best advice I can give is to IMMEDIATELY stim or phase shift when you spawn, or failing that, boost slide. At least do something.

Why does my mouse sensitivity feel tied to framerate somewhat? Like, my mouse aim actually moves at a different speed at 100 fps and 80fps, not just a different amount of smoothness which would be normally. I play many FPS games and titanfall 2 is the only game this happens in.

What does /tfg/ think of the updates to the Mastiff? I miss the big-ass reticle.it doesn't feel as quite as solid to land a kill still damn fine work,though with any longer.

cons: blatantly OP hitscan weapons, stupidly low TTK, and a lousy 20 tickrate makes for some frustrating times. some maps are pretty unintuitive. the general balance isn't great, but it's getting better.

the movement is some of the best you'll ever see, the majority of guns feel just grand to use, and of course the giant specialized robots. Playing the game just gives you a kind of high that's hard to find in any other game.

correct, an out of position or unattentive legion has really no chance against even the dumbest of scorches since the W+M3 is excellent against a target who literally cannot attack without slowing down to a crawl. you have to really haul ass away from him before trying to fight him, and even then the predator cannon has literally no effect on vortex/flameshield duration so you're stuck just having to wait it out.

What the fuck is this persecution complex? The Mastiff was continually cited as the worst gun in the game for very good reason. The Glitch patch addressed the Mastiff's single biggest issue (its close-range consistency), and combined with the EVA-8's nerf and the fix to Quick Reload back in the Colony patch, and the Mastiff is now much more reasonable a gun than it was two months ago. I like the Mastiff too, but I'm not going to be overly possessive of it just because it was really shitty up until now. It's still an uphill battle to use it compared to other guns since it's a projectile weapon.

I can understand why Ronin is as popular as he is. He excels at ambush tactics and is very difficult to pin down, and with Sword Block, he gets to advance on you at very little cost to him, which automatically puts pressure on people. Granted, he's one of the harder Titans to use correctly, but if you're getting a free Ronin every time you die, there's no reason not to go HAM on people.
