Update on compression thing

I've gotten a final size of 2.41gb for the vanilla game folder which I have tested and works (mostly, there are some files that the game can't find but the game doesn't crash or hang or break so it might just be shitty jap coding)

I'm working on mods next and HEXA looks like it'll be able to be dropped to about between 20% and 40% of its original size but I need to implement a way for mods to override properly

If it works then modding would just simply be drag and drop rather than needing to install them

There was a similar nonexistent response the last year and we managed to fill the 4 classes. Some people just come here a few times a month but they'd still contribute if there was a thing because, surprise, most people want to get into some kind of chart. The limit is not arbitrary. Maker May is for cards specifically because it celebrates the release of the maker(_Maker_ May). Just making comics without making cards is some different thing. What traits would make a character act most like a teacher?

How do you change a skirt file? I like the longer skirt that comes with the puffed sleeve sailor uniform, but it doesn't seem to be present on any other outfits.

The puffy sailor uniform is slot 10, so go into the corresponding HEXA/SVII (only of the first ones, probably) and look for "A02_10_00_0X.xx" where the "0X" is split based on height, 00 being for short, 01 being for standard, and 02 being for tall.

Then you can either use AAU or you can hard-replace it onto whatever other outfit you want it on by just overwriting

Get the .xx from back hair slot 147, remove all the meshes except the bear clips, edit the bear clip mesh in metaseq so they're on separate meshes, import the meshes, remove the original bear clips, save that as a new .xx file, get a hair slot to redirect to that .xx, then use the Body tab to resize and reposition each bear according to your desires.

I had a Drug Dealer trait in mind. Basically the char gets his friend item replaced by "Joint x5" and whenever someone trades a friend item they get the "Joint" item and the dealer discards the item they get and instead has "Joint x4" and so on. Dealer restocks once a week. Not sure what the "clients" do with the joint tho and what they're left with once they've smoked up.

Keep in mind if you want a transparent texture I'm pretty sure you'd need .tga files.

Tried it. It doesn't seem to work. It still wants to read the BMP file. But I'll continue messing around with it a bit and see if I messed something up.

So I see that there is a DIY Personality pack, but is there any info on what files to go digging through to change or add traits?

It would be nice to be able to get a better understanding of what each one does exactly.

I'm interested in trying to make characters who feel more fleshed out than usual, I realize that very well is probably not going to happen with this game.

But it would be fun to try and use a multitude of traits that make sense but don't overlap each other on a mechanical level to instill a stronger sense of a particular personality in characters.
