Maybe it was because Futaba wasn't directly denying it? She kind of knew the shadow was right and you can tell the shit the shadow was saying was obviously bothering her. Especially in that cutscene before the boss fight where she starts to realize she's been lied to.

I don't think her shadow was particularly different from other people's shadows, it still said a bunch of uncomfortable shit to her. Futaba, instead of outright telling the shadow to fuck off and pulling a YOU'RE NOT MEEEEE, chose to silently listen and eventually accept it.

I don't know, but I think it's because of the circumstances regarding Futaba's situation that kind of explains why her shadow wasn't AS MUCH of a cunt as the shadows from P4.

I think I fused Lucifer before doing the Judgement Confidant so it didn't get any level ups. Then rerolled for each level up from then on manually to ensure ONLY Magic. I have +10 All Stats, 5 from gun, 5 from accessory.

Rerolling for a single stat is incredibly tedious, but it's the only way to really minmax. I've had at least a dozen times where I actually saw the stat I needed but my mind didn't register it quickly enough because it grew tedious and boring. Still, if this is what you desire, keep at it. Just listen to something or watch something in the background to help break the monotony, but don't get too distracted.

I already finished the game twice and somehow... this scene is really bothers me the most. Look at his expression when mentioned the word "delicious pancake". It's like... he knew that Morgana is gonna hear him and he had to say it out loud in oblivious way. And the chance of them meeting in that corridor is too coincidental, as if like he was searching for them. All of this scene is just really too odd for me.

I didn't use a guide, but I know what you mean. In 3 and 4 I went through and just chose responses in character, in 5 I was much more trying to get the maximum relationship points.

Same thing for the dungeons, in 4 I'd take my time and do it bit by bit, in 5 I rushed them all as soon as possible to get them out of the way, which made them feel more like a chore than an adventure.

I'm a few days after Medjed got taken care of, and, man, you guys weren't kidding about how great Futaba is. I can see why she ranks so high in all the strawpolls. She's this perfect combination of spunk and vulnerability. Akechi Goro's backstory and motivation is too suspicious. The way he get on revenge on Shidou is unnecessary complex. Help him rise in power then try to humiliate him when he at the peak of it? Too risky even for a person with a low IQ. Any normal vindictive person would go straight ahead and just kill him even means at the cost of their lives. The way he switch to a normal dork boy to psychopathic killer is too sudden, unlike Adachi, who seems a slow built up for his psychopathic tendencies. As if like there's more of just those two dual personality, as if he's like hiding an unknown motivation, more than just recognition and revenge, something that only him to know but not to all of us, something that even Yaldabaoth himself doesn't know.

Once again this is me just thinking too much, so don't take it too seriously.
