Unrelated to all the bun talk, I got my package in finally. Series 1 and 2 japanese ereader cards. I just won a third auction for series 3 as well, so now I'm just hoping for series 4.

It's fucking great because I'm the only one bidding on sealed boxes, although I'd still like to have an english set. The cards are surprisingly flimsy even for regular trading cards.

As someone who has cared for dozens of rabbits for two decades, I can rebuke this lie from the pit of hell! AC Rabbits have the highest ratio of cute:ugly villagers of any species. And Zipper has the most ~fun~ holiday in any AC game.

Sucks that the only official Zipper merch is a keychain, stamp, and 2 unique stickers. Rabbit villagers in general have been shafted when it comes to anything much greater. I believe only Bunnie has a plush? The merchandise for AC across the board has been really shit. I'm thankful we got the amiibo, even if it meant us being damned with AF. But I'm hopeful AC mobile makes AC relevant enough again for Ninty to give us dozens if not hundreds of more villagers with merch.

One time I plot resetted Dotty for three weeks straight. After that I was a lot less picky but still plot resetted until I got all my dreamies in my main town. I have a second cartridge and I just let them move wherever the hell they want now because I hate plot-resetting that much after that experience with Dotty. I had a pretty big feng shui setup at one point and I noticed some things, but I never got what I wanted, 200 bells per tree and 32k bells per rock. I've only seen the latter on "lucky days". I also noticed that Redd's prices were lower and when I got paintings from villagers, they were often real. I had a streak of 4 fake paintings before I got my home all feng shui'd. It is in no way overpowered though, but I think it is worth bothering with as a challenge to decorating and optimizing your home.
The only problem with feng shui is that the various information out on the net conflicts with each other in some regards from guide to guide. I still don't know if rooms other than the main room count towards your score. It is undeniable that it generates a bonus score in HHA, but for actual Feng Shui? I myself think it does, but I can never say for certain since I did all my rooms at once and never decided to try and do a controlled experiment.

Considering that at the time population growing came out in the states the cards were super scarce and when you could find them they'd be about six or seven dollars a pack for a set of five, no. Adding on one thing I can say about the amiibo cards over the ereader cards is that duplicates are a lot more common versus amiibo cards, which have a reasonable distribution rate. From experience you can get an almost complete set from a box, which has about 15 packs, while a 22 pack set of the ereader cards (which only have about 66 cards a set) leaves you missing about 15 cards or so. Again, this is just my experience, but if I can find some more cheap boxes i don't really care too much.

Also, the original boxes are definitely a lot nicer than the amiibo card ones.
