I paired with Christina Round 1, she was playing Gravekeeper Stun. She was the only girl in the store, Poline was some fat beaner dude. I won 2-0 vs Christina.

Next I played against Lawrenz, who was playing Dinos. He made the foolish mistake of going first and I OTK'd him both games.

3rd round vs. Alfredo, he was playing Skull Servant Grass, and in game 2 I resolved Lithosagym with two babies and realised he was playing a T W E N T Y (20) card extra deck. I swiftly OTK'd him instead of snitching because that's what real men do.

Final Round vs Sebastian and his Artifact Windwitch Invoked. What can I say, that deck autoloses to dinos.

And so I got 7 OTS packs for my win but didn't pull any ultis, rip.

This is an OCG list, Drident and Rat are gone. The deck is literally just floodgates.dek over there now. In TCG they do a lot combos with Fusion Substitute to draw like 3-5 cards turn 1 since Rat is still at 2 and Norden isn't banned.

All of them are hard to summon, This needs an xyz and it's destruction effect is meaningless against Links and Xyz cads as they don't have levels, they might as well be level 0

Venom Dragon cannot be special summoned at all other than by fusion summon and pendulum summon meaning Absolute Dragon cannot revive it nor can Pendulum Reborn and that card is a level 10 like Nirvana High Paladin and there are very few pendulum cards that have a scale of 11 or 12 that are playable in decks that would run these cards

Wing Dragon needs a DARK tuner monster of which there are few that work with the deck it's suppose to be used in and even then, if you have the material Crystal Wing does it better.

All three cards suck and suck even more in the real game because of the new rulings so even if they printed the Odd eyes gate cards as is they would be unplayable because no matter what revived Pendulum monsters from the extra deck must go to the extra deck zone.

Konami really fucked decks that are reliant on multiple extra deck summoning methods going on at once.

Regular Starving Venom is arguably better than Odd-Eyes Venom and if the situation needs effects copying instead, you have Servant Starving to do that without wasting a fusion spell.

Crystal Wing surpasses Odd-Eyes Wing (for some goddamn reason even though it's easier to summon).

Odd-Eyes Raging has a far off better, more versatile game ending effects than Odd-Eyes Rebellion.

Seriously, it's as if Wing and Rebellion were made to be materials for Odd-Eyes Fusion or to be summoned by Absolute Dragon, which are the only occasions I can see one using them, since Rebellion blows up scales upon death and Wing can become a constant Honest.

A basic combo would be opening with Jiaotu.
Jiaotu>Chiwen+zefrainu>Sync Jiaotu + zefrainu into Baxia>Baxia pop on Chiwen>Rez Jiaotu>Float Chiwen into Zefrainu>Go into a second baxia.
Spins 4 cards and leaves you with 2 level 8 2300 attack beaters.

The deck also lets you "build-a-boss" where your YZ Synchro mats buff up the cards you Synchro out with them.
Basically you can either do combo's, do a grind game, or do floodgate shit.

Not really. In my experience it's only casual players, bad players and newly returning players who feel this way.

Casual players dislike all these things because they play the game purely to have fun and mess about, and that is what they enjoy. When you then have someone who plays this game to win, because that's what they enjoy about the game, developing a top tier strategy that meshes together so well and and can combo off, suddenly this casual player isn't enjoying playing against them, because their deck loses horribly to the person who enjoys playing a top deck. That's not to say that either person is wrong, they're just trying to enjoy the game the way that they like.

Bad players don't know how to build a proper deck, will run more than 40 cards, will refuse to use synchros and xyz out of "principle" and will complain that their opponent "got lucky" or "wouldn't have won if they "played fair". Their definition of "getting lucky" is apparently doing what the deck was built to do, and "playing fair" is adhering to a self-developed set of rules that only disadvantage themselves. These are the sort of people who will complain that you won because you used xyz and synchro monster, so when you switch to a Frog Monarch deck with no extra deck and still wipe the floor with them they'll complain that you were special summoning too much, so when you switch to a basic Chaos deck and still beat them they'll complain that you "lucked out". These people refuse to grow as Yu-Gi-Oh! players, they will never accept that their 60 card "Exodia/Blue-Eyes/Dark Magician/Flame Swordsman Hybrid deck is terrible, and will always blame their losses on their opponent being lucky or xyz/synchro cards.

The vanilla Dinosaur deck can do some cute first turn tricks too
>Open Terra/Lost World and Oviraptor/Fossil Dig
>Activate Lost World, summon Oviraptor
>Summon token, search Miscelaneousarus (Or Ultimate Conductor if you have that shit already, you can summon him too)
>Discard Misc, Oviraptor effect to destroy token, destroy Babycera in deck instead, summon Jurrac Dino

>Banish Misc, summon Aeolo
>Synchro Crystal Wing
It's obviously not even REMOTELY as strong as the Kangs variant, but it's not without its charms
