If the PC version is fucked, then I can only imagine the PS4 one. Sounds like a mess, as I expected. Although the first two games were memorable adventures, their pre-rendered cutscenes had weird editing in addition to animation; so there's much to be gained from modern production values, but it seems as if 3 just replaces the original technical sloppiness with modern technical sloppiness. And you can't forgive it because the game is new, released in 2017.

Hello /ps4g/, I need some advice.
My brother and I have decided to purchase a PS4 and we want to get some last minute input on which model we should get.

We don't mind paying the extra case for the Pro, but that's assuming it's worth it. I've heard numerous cases of the Pro playing older PS4 games worse than the standard PS4 does. I know this is true because I've read multiple articles detailing the issue. How big of a problem is it? Also, how much louder is the pro than the slim? This is important.

Please be honest. We have already already agreed to buy one of them, so there's no need to lie and make the system look better than it is just because you like it.

The Archangels themselves are hardly a threat and deal very little damage on their own - the fight is only difficult because they get into a cycle of repeatedly summoning Angels to fully heal themselves, which you have to prevent by using Curse attacks before they can use Recarmdra.

How badly have I fucked up? A family friend wanted to get netflix on his ps4 so I helped him. When I went to open the psn store to download the app it asked me to log into a psn acc. I realized he didnt have one so I thought that no harm would come from me logging into mine and downloading it but now my psn is linked with his ps4 profile. Sony made it a rule that games have to run on both systems, so no the pro most likely won't get any pro exclusive games. The pro is also the first time that a hardware upgrade was made in a sony consoles life cycle, nobody knows how it will affect the PS5. The scorpio will be more powerful than the pro though which might convince sony to still do a PS5 in a timely manner. It feels as sony tried to make PS Now mainstream though so maybe their goal was to create a streaming service instead of new hardware, as of now I don't see that happening, maybe instead of a real PS6 it will finally be possible to transform the playstation console brand into a streaming one.

There are a lot of good upcoming games, many of which are exclusive to the PS4. This year to date has been particularly good. I don't know about better.

I don't think Pro has been pushed hard enough or has enough sales to extend the generation on its own. Nor does it really have enough of the features people will expect by 2020. I expect it was more an experiment by Sony than anything. The real wildcard is Project Scorpio which could usher in the new generation pretty quickly. Or not - I think in both cases the average gamer has no incentive to upgrade until the current generation is completely obsolete (i.e. games stop being made for it).

I don't doubt that the standard console generation structure we've had will die not long after 2020, but not until 4K is standard for every gamer and consoles are shipped with much bigger hard drives. Which I expect is what the PS5 will do.

ds3 feels like shit, I would use my ps3 a lot more if more games supported ds4

the ds3 really is a poor design. I don't have big hands and it's still too small and convex trigger/sticks are horrible.

I regularly wipe my electronics down with a microfiber cloth but I think something is wrong with the plastic on the ds3 sticks because it's always sticky/greasy when I get it out. Oils in your hands must break it down or something idk, if it sits for a month or so without use it goes gross. ds4 might do it too but I clean it too much to notice. also cleaning out the grooves/screw holes with a toothpick is fucking gross.

It is a little easy to get to the bosses, but then bosses will 1HKO you.
That may just have been me, but it felt really unbalanced. Like it was trying to be hard for the sake of being hard.

Also Coop is junk. If you wanna be summoned, you have hope that your coop partner stays near the shrine, because you always spawn there. Usually, they fuck off, and by the time I get to them, they have already died.

I use an old model Elgato taking screenshots is instantaneous but it screenshots the feed on your comp so there's about a second of delay on that feed but it doesn't matter if you have flashback record on since you can just go over any part of your current session and grab screens
