Well technically you could use deathwing going forward in standard. But yeah doesnt really matter, I crafted a regular Sylvannas and then I was lucky enough to get a golden one in a pack and I kept both (this was last year already) and I then got the 3200 dust back and I disenchanted the golden one - I don't plan on playing wild so I have the regular one for brawls or wild should it be worth it some day (like a reward or something).

You get the choice of 3 mage spells which are generally very high quality. Even if your discover hits the weaker outcomes you are still likely to get something that will help you in whatever situation you're facing. Then, if that wasn't good enough they slap free innervate onto it.

It's Mad Scientist levels of overpowered in my opinion.

If this problem isn't addressed at some point, it's just going to add on to the pile of problems that will inevitably kill this game.

You say Hearthstone is too popular to die, but look what happened with D3. It eventually got replaced completely by Path of Exile.

The same thing will happen to Hearthstone. It's already begun to happen. When this game came out, it had virtually 0 competitors, which was a huge reason for its popularity as it essentially "pioneered" the mainstream online CCG genre.

Hard to say. I think people are gravitating toward a faster murloc-heavy midrange with less control tools and more buffs. Something like this, I think.

My personal favorite, and what I laddered to Legend with, is the grindy midrange with murloc earlygame as well as equality, conc and healing.

Tempo and mech were at least somewhat exciting to play against since it's like pirate warrior on crack and beating it gave you satisfaction.

Turn 1 cleric is a huge threat since she can trade up pretty intensely while drawing cards, either forcing them to hold back minions for a waraxe, coin out a southsea with first mate or just let you draw cards.
Hard mull for clerics and watchers, razorleafs are too slow, no point in holding a silence if you have nothing to silence.
Radiant Elemental is amazing if you manage to get it out turn 2 with a pw:s, I've even coined it out turn 1 and pw:s'd it sometimes.

I don't run Kabal talonpriests in my purify deck but they're good tech against aggro and still scale well into late game.
