Trance Terra can't hold her own against Ultima Weapon compared to Orlandeau against Adrawhatitsface or Queen against the Brionac or Randi against the Mana Beast. No weaknesses to take advantage of and the only status you can hope to put on it is Paralyze, which it resists by 90%.

It doesn't matter since the game gives you so many motes that you don't need to worry about "wasting" them. I'd say the most important unlocks to get are the ones that allow the characters to use higher level abilities (Celes getting 4* white magic, Alphinaud getting 5* black magic, all of Onion Knight's stuff, etc), or unlocking the ability to equip more types of weapons if you have strong weapons that you'd like that character to be able to use.

You have to go to the entrance of the desert near the library, since the whole thing is a dungeon. The pyramid itself is something you have to go back to much later. To get anywhere in the desert, you need Cid and Mid in the library to trigger a boss fight for you.

Mystic Quest was my first RPG. I was very young (5 or so). I got to the ice part and there was some puzzle you had to complete. There was a 3 space gap and a statue you could push around. You had to push the statue to the middle of the gap, then jump across it to the other side. I did not know you could jump. I tore my hair out for probably an hour trying to figure out what to do then gave up. Over the next couple years I would start a new game and be very thorough with everything, because I thought I must have missed something that got me past that puzzle. Gonna second that other guy and say X because the full on turn based combat makes taking a hit mid battle while you think quite comfy. If you're eating, I'd say go for V or VI and get super engrossed. The music in those games is really great and you'll get lost in them. If you want to branch out to other RPGs I heavily recommend the Baten Kaitos series, especially while high.

It's worked for me bringing my Gil and a friend Orlandude/Olive that's 1000+ attack but last run was a close call when Olive got nuked. So I rolled 2 chizurus, 2 sevens and a Lightning today in FFBE. Is Lightning even any good anymore? I already have a 3rd Chizuru who was maxed out too.

The only other Rainbow I have is Frey, so getting a lightning is nice, but she just doesn't seem very good. Exdeath is also sitting here ready to awaken to 6* once I get more fish and the mats I need, so I'm not really sure if its worth using her.
