Soul ring only gives you one free spell, and your full combo will wipe out your mana pool otherwise.

Thing is, I did. Nyx just sat in the lane and hit creeps. Lion sapped xp top in the beginning, but then at least tried to get kills. The enemy had Pudge Invoker AM. Lion and I couldn't kill anyone just the two of us, and Luna and Magnus literally verbally refused to do anything but farm jungle until our hg was being pushed. I got a lot of kills early, but after about 20 minutes there was nothing I could do and the game was just over. I tried to call shots all game, everything would've been fine if our luna had rotated to the offlane and we all pushed together. We took 1 tower all game.

Man at lower mmr, 3k, sometimes people don't realize that they need to hit their timing window. I told them in the pick screen that we have to push early and keep pressure up. I told them at minute 4 that it would be really good to group bot and take over radiant jungle. I did all I could to organize them. The only unwinnable games I encounter are like this. The last one I experienced was like 2 weeks ago when my team, a drow strat, argued with me, claiming that we would outcarry a team with axe and weaver. Sometimes people are so set in their ways that you can't win.
