That's the problem, it's usually just me and the one or two tanks holding them back, if the tanks die it leaves just me on the ground, in the open. I either die and we lose a point, or I retreat and we lose a point, the Hanzos and Widows certainly won't contest. It's a dilemma between being wiped right now, or being wiped a bit later, it's a loss either way.

Turning 1 v 1's into 1 v 2's and denying people their abilities at the critical moment is her bread and butter

Good tracking certainly helps and it is worth practising (some people assume you do no damage and are shocked when you drop them like a bad habit) but don't ever think you're there as main DPS like 76, McCree or Pharah

Yeah you have to really hug people to deal damage, unless it's a Rein, D.Va, Roadhog.
The way I play is that I set up my translocator on a hacked healthpack, prefereably on a high ground like Gibraltar space shuttle, then drop down with invis and hack a Ana, Rein, Zarya etc. Any hero that is basically fucked without abilities. Then I try to kill someone but even when I can't I at least try to tank as much damage as possible to heal myself on the healthpack later (=massive ult charge). The most important thing is that you build your ult fast and get if off on as many people as possible. You can also play like a soldier and just stay with your team but I find that less effective especially now with the low cooldown on translocator. It's really hard to get a hack off in team fights too.
