repostin, i shoulda just waited the ten minutes

ahead of a video detailing and demonstrating her loadout tomorrow (probably???), i've added monarch and her current numberss to the stat table
i also swapped some symbols to more clear, fixed a few mistakes, added dash stats to the Titan info and general speed stats for everything, and got rid of the "critical hit range" value because as far as i can tell no weapon has actually used it since the technical test

It is amped; look at the electrical effects. The amped Elite doesn't current one-shot with body shots at close range, and there's no reason to think that both Pilot were already hurt, at least.
It'd be weird if it consumed the tactical charge given that it's not tied to the tactical. It would definitely be stupid though.

Use Scorch with the boosted fireshield kit, it makes it last a longer time.
Take turbo engine if you want extra speed
Use those flame traps, place them smartly!
Use boost + Flame shield to do tons of damage to enemy titans.
In CQC a scorch can beat a ronin no problem, just gotta be quick on your movement. Never retreat unless outnumbered 3 - 1 and always eject, pilot.

Put bluntly, Scorch is a fat Ronin: he excels when he's flanking an enemy and can box them in with his thermite chicanery. If you're in a straight-up slugfight with an enemy Titan at anything but close quarters, you need to reposition becuase you're not going to win that fight.

Scorch is all about positioning. Because of this there are just some maps where scorch does not do well. Forward Base Kodai comes to mind, basically the really open ones.
The best way to deal with those situations that you describe is to not get into them. If you do, you drop a gas canister and back off. Maybe try and bait them towards you so you can engage in a better place; corridors and hidey holes are where you should be springing from.
If your in a situation where you cant get up close, your mortar will actually do a fair amount of damage on direct hits, and you can arc it over things, meaning you can still poke an enemy to death.
So basically, open ground = death, corridors and crevices = spicy finger.

what fps games have you played though? I was always great at Unreal and bad at Call of Duty, and now I'm mediocre at this game.

I can promise you will have a lot of fun, easily in sp, and the amount of fun you have in mp will depend partly on skill, partly on attitude. This game is so fast and it's so easy to die. You will need stoicism to enjoy losing and curiosity to get better. Plus it is plagued with horrible technical problems, but at times it is just the best FPS ever.
