This expansion is literally so awful and unbalanced

These dumb fucking idiots thought putting the hero power you get from Majordomo Executus behind a gate where you just have to play taunts was "fair".

They thought forcing rogues to play 1 drops was also "bad".

They're out of touch, they have 0 clue to what the fuck their doing. No wonder some people only stick to being eternal arena players, constructed is honestly fucked. I can't wait to see how awful the pro scene turns out to be, maybe they'll nut up and ban quests from tournaments.

Buying expansion means 400 dollars to get all the cards.
If you don't want all the cards, it is still more than 20 dollars to get all the meta relevant cards.

I can't remember needing to spend money on this game since nax or maybe goblins or something. After that i just did quest and spent 3k to 6k of free gold every expansion.

I also dust old cards less and less. Mostly just dust the free gold cards every month from rank and I even need to do this less and less often. Mostly because I don't waste dust on the day of expansions and wait a few weeks for the top decks to be refined.

Actually, this month will be the first time I've ever opened an Adventure because despite the claims of them being great for new players, they're FAR too expensive and always have been. You can choose to expand your card collection normally (fast) or you can choose to play Adventures and do it very slowly, but target cards. I always chose the latter for more cards overall. I'm just now to the point of considering Adventures, and, of course, they remove all of them except the shittiest one.

You have been doing it wrong. When they released adventures they released a wing at a time and usually has enough time to get enough gold to unlock them as they were released if you did the daily quest.

Even now. If you just did the quest every 3 days or so and don't burn gold on arenas or packs by the time the next expansion or whatever is released you will have 4k gold easy maybe even 6k.

With that amount you get enough legends and dust to craft a top deck as long as you don't spend all your dust on day 1 and wait for the meta decks to be refined.

I did dust cards back after gnomes vs goblins got rotated out. But as I've mentioned numerous times before I don't have a need to dust cards because of all the free dust from reaching rank 15 at the very least.

Not to mention all of the free dust from buying packs with gold and dusting duplicates.

I only dust gold cards now and even then not often.

Am I just dumb, or are these decks overhyped. The Paladin one is netdecked, but the Hunter one I just edited very few cards. Also made Elemental Buff Paladin but the furthest I could get to was Rank 13, kept on getting shit on by Priests and Mages, it definitely could stand up to Taunt Warrior but not Pirate Warrior.

I feel like I'm not good with Mid-Range Paladin because I feel most of the cards need to be paired with another card to make a play rather than just playing. I mean, do I really keep Aldor in my mulligan when it has such a powerful nerf effect for late-game? Do I keep Wild Pyromancer for the sake of board presence or only as a combo with Equality or Consecration? With Light-Fused, I can barely get a Silver Hand Recruit to survive, probably because people know I can adapt them. So I'm always wondering if I should just play the cards I mentioned on Mana 3/4 respectively for board presence, or when I need to combo with Equality/Consecration/ or only when I get at least one Silver Hand Recruit on board respectively.

I don't have an issue with using Mid-Range Hunter unless it's Razormaw- I mainly want to use it as a combo piece, but the thing is, if I use it on a Jeweled Macaw, would it be such a waste compared to just using it on a buffed Scavenging Hyena later in the game? Sometimes I feel like I'm missing out on extra damage so I may use it early since I have another in the Deck for later use (if it's drawn anyway).

I mainly used the Hunter deck, the thing is, is that all I faced were Rogues and Taunt Warrior (one of the worst mu for Mid-Range Hunter imo). I shat on Exodia Mages though in my entire losing streak I did not see a Mage. And lately, Quest Rogues have been using the 2/1 freeze minion so it's not as easy compared to release.

That's absolutely false. A new MTG player can play a pauper deck against a friend. You simply can not do that in HS unless you know someone else playing it, which most don't. And you get far more cards in MTG to choose from with far more varying effects. You can also mix factions (colors), something you can't do in HS, for greater creative control. There really is no comparison between MTG and HS. MTG is a worlds better game for new and expert players both.
