So, I had a thought. The characters in the games have a common link and supposedly in NDRV3 they all signed up for the killing game, but Amami's first memory being of SHSL Hunt makes me wonder if we're being misled.

I think it's just his design that invites the stuttering victim art. It is really odd because even Tenko says that what he's offering to do is dangerous and he doesn't come across as totally panicked when offering to do it. Considering he like everyone else denied having talent, my opinion is that Ouma was sweating not because he's naturally nervous but because he was just focused enough to realize they're royally screwed.

What's interesting too is that SHSL Ouma has a tendency to exaggerate with his reactions and words, so the times when he speaks quietly or stares blankly may be more reflective of his true character given that it's closer to how he acted in the prologue.

Their personalities are definitely not totally different, that much I can say. That's why I've been re-visiting the prologue in consideration of how some of the characters behave considerably suspiciously and Ouma stands out due to the way he's acting in the prologue.

So it was probably still Ouma and Kaito involved, but the murderer/murdered may have swapped around and their "unsolvable" trick may have been different.Additionally, it says that they robots were just decoration, so one of them was probably originally supposed to be physically present in the trial, or neither of them were.

Adding in the general scenario could still happen within two hours too. Even Kaito said he improvised sometimes. It's still an ass pull but not impossible. In before his talent makes him good at giving orders so he managed to write the whole thing was bleeding and aching.

For instance, if I was keeping Miu as the victim I would at least not make her plan outside of killing Ouma so ridiculously retarded. Chapter 4 is easy to fix.

He probably had no idea. He was already exploring the school, so exploring a new area that's now available for exploring seems logical. He had no "use" planned for it.

For whatever reason, and this isn't clear from the translations we have, he felt that she had to die so he could still stay alive. For whatever reason, he felt he was backed into a corner he couldn't get out without killing her.

Use it on himself first to see exactly what Monokuma put in it, probably, and then go from there to determine who to target with it. You don't have to agree to see the remembering flashlight to make it work; theoretically, he could've forcibly shined it into anyone's face and made them fall into the same despair Gonta did.

I asked someone I talk to regularly who has played the game and follows JP blogs, according to them no one's actually said anything about side materials for Himiko or Amami either and if anything I suspect now that Ouma (And Miu by extension) will have the first side material.

Well, she was acting under the assumption that she wouldn't end up caught or executed. She is quite arrogant and tends to only think of the short term consequences of her actions. She spent so long concocting that plan so she wouldn't get executed, theoretically.

If SC wants money and past trends hold true with his character type/role, Ouma will get side material eventually. You may hate the "Komaeda 2.0" thing but he's very similar to him in levels of popularity, exposure and marketing, so he'll probably follow his trend on getting side material. Iruma and Gonta will probably be included in that.
