Doesn't the Dawn of Souls version of her fighting Hell Mateus have her use Cure and Holy, which are typical White Mage abilities. Guy is the physical tank, while Firion has Ultima and Leon is just an oddball Dark Knight who has poor accuracy and heals himself with a low powered cure.

And for Krile, Lenna, and Faris' case their statlines make it so that their optimal roles are for Krile and Lenna mages while Faris does generally well for most any job except for magic based jobs, which should be left to both Krile and Lenna with their slightly higher magic stats.

That's because you built your Galuf that way which optimizes his stats but makes Krile a little bit worse when she inherits from him because her stats go off in a different direction. You want to build Galuf up as a mage so that when Krile inherits from him, she will be set in her roles.

Whenever I tend to play any game that has a job system, I tend to set roles for the characters based off of their optimal stats.

So which are the most useful Purecrysts to get?

I already nabbed the Power one and have about 350 Rainbow Eggs right. I overcrafted the other eggs, made several Black Bandanas and Crowns of Justice, a few too many, so I used up a few too many Rainbow Eggs.

Suppose I should at least continue with Support and Tech for Luneth, if I can find a place for him later, after that, any suggestions as to the ones more commonly used.

Order is probably Power -> Support/Techs -> Magic/Healing -> Guard/Green, but just wanting some input.

I did it by bringing Cecil and Refia and 3 physical attackers. Melee every turn and heal through the aoe with refia, and when 50% rolls around and the aoe intensifies, had cecil heal with her. No idea if there's a better strat. Someone else might have one.

You either auto attack with Physical units or bring a Mage team. I went with a Mage team and it went alright, so long as they can survive the spam and have silence protection.

Since Autoattacks don't really have an issue with silence, a physical team is probably easier to bring in.

Althought I didn't use it, apparently Dualcast is alright, since Dualcast doesn't "activate", it just allows you to cast magic twice, so it doesn't ruin "No Ability".

My party was Exdeath, Emperor, Ariana, Refia, and Y'shtola. If I used Dualcast, it would've been easier, but even without it, Y'shtola was necessary for the Shellga, and both were healing when needed. When Shellga needed reapplying, I usually put everyone to defend to make sure they'd live and be healed up fully for next turn. If you bother with Exdeath, he needs HP Materia and Carbuncle, cause his defensive stats are butts.

The good non-mote ones are Meltdown, Valigarmanda, and Omega Drive. Choosing what to hone is the tough part, since crystals are still pretty rare. There's a list up somewhere on reddit called "All possible 6* ability combinations" that can help. I rely a lot on instant medicas, and Arc's is pretty good because of the physical blink attached. You can go with him if you like it better than Aerith's burst with no problems. Her burst isn't bad, but there's no enough difference where you will go wrong either way.

It has a wide variety of characters, so not really. And something unique about it is that character rarity doesn't really determine how good they are. For the longest time some of the best characters were B or A rarity, despite the tiers going up to SS. Then after a while they did an even rarer tier called Z and didn't do much with it, then added a new evolve thing called dna recode which I think nearly every character can do now.

You have to be ready to grind constantly if you want to get anywhere in that game though. Everything takes a ton of grind, and each new feature they added just took even longer than the last. I never recoded anybody before I quit playing.

I'm not sure, I haven't played mobius in months but probably. TB had a lot of good music and a super solid base to build a good game on. Mistwalker's just so fucking slow to update anything that anything they do add is intended to last months so the grind is terrible. Record materia. Usually you don't need them until later in the fight, but if you aren't using them mako might/dr mog works. Ace striker/battleforged also work fine. Lionheart/Knight's Charge are not as good, but if you're using enough of the other stuff or get hit many times before you get a turn, they still help over a long battle.

Dr Mog's teachings are unlocked randomly using Tyro once you break level 65 with him, and Mako's Might with Cloud. Tyro can refill his gauge by using lifesiphon or wrath, but those 2 "start with 1 gauge filled" RMs are nice for buffs you need right at the start of a boss fight.

Those just unlock randomly after a round of fighting before you advance. You need to unlock the previous RM for the character first though, and so if Cloud is 65 already you'd sill have to unlock his soldier's counter RM or whatever it's called first by doing the Jenova mission it wants.

Just get the Terra event fire and echo cards to 5* and you can always just fusion boost punishing ice.
It's not like the game throws ability tickets at you, right?! And punishing ice is a very good card.

The problem with unlocking any RM that you get randomly in battle is that the percentage is LOW AS FUCK. You can get it in your first fight, or it can take you like 100 of them. So while going into a very low stamina battle might help, it still might take a really long time. Which is why I probably wouldn't recommend it for any RMs other than those two since they are really important. For other ones, going through dungeons you haven't done yet are a good opportunity, like the easy levels of weekly events that you can usually just auto through.

That shit is probably in the pastebin or something, but not going to check since I already typed that up.
