I love Mestema cause it forces the opponent to get rid of it and it only costs 5pp, plus if they don't get rid of it, you can go face. Not to mention it is 6/6 which puts it above reach of anything that can deal up to 5defense points of damage.

When I play mestema, I play it as a red herring, to try and whittle away at their removal for when I play the things that need to stay on the board.

Nah, it's bullshit. I hate playing dragon in Take Two and the only class I don't play besides that is Elf cause too many of the cards rely on having a bulky hand or playing 0pp fairies.

Yet dragon always wins cause games always go late, and they have too many cards with crazy effects like bane, storm, damage, healing, extra summons, extra with no skill or effort required other than to put the card down. Take Two is a clear indicator of the power creep this fucking card game is dipping into and it started with Dragon.

It's fucking ridiculous that 14 Take Two games, five matches a ticket, and NO victories against dragon. EVERYONE in Take Two picks dragon cause they know how bullshit it is.

The opposite is true. No other aggro/mid-range decks (or really any deck) can compete with Shadow right now. Shadow gets nerfs and you'll see a return of mid-sword, aggro/mid blood, and other fast decks that will tear Dragon up.

Will it really pass? Considering the past two expansions and the fact that the cards aren't going away anytime soon I really feel like this game is just gonna get shittier and shittier.
It's a shame too, it had such promise in the first set, and even with the Haven cancer I think DE was a solid expansion overall. But the devs have just powercreeped so hard now and enforced the dumb soft cap to extremes to the point where the game is just not fun to play at all anymore.

It will pass because as the game grows older developers try new things and no matter how much you hate X or Y in the past or present, loving Z often makes it worth the trouble.
A good example is the new found love for blood some people discovered with ToG, even with a very dreadful meta that many despise you still see the dudes that like the feeling of living on the edge having a blast.

Like it or not haven was 50% of your matches. Shitters complain about Elana but the real cancer was Storm Haven. There were more powerful decks for sure (midrange sword, tempo forest, elana/seraph before everyone teched against it), but fucking god to this day I hate seeing that stupid eagle.
But I think DE was a good expansion because it added a lot of new deck archetypes and cool cards but didn't completely kill the old ones. Overall the power level was fairly solid and the top tier was the biggest its ever been, and tier 2 decks were still perfectly viable.
Meanwhile RoB and TotG have had the smallest amount of tier 1 decks and those decks have also been insanely oppressive.
