If you're having trouble with Hunter, just sub a card for Wickerflame or add an extra 1-drop. My Recruits Midrange list has a similar curve and no extra healing beyond Wickerflame, yet it washes Hunters consistently

Vinecleaver is amazing against taunt warrior and in combination with Tarim, it's one of the weaker cards in the deck though so you won't be hurt too bad if you cut it.

The deck really likes having lay on hands, keeps you out of lethal range versus hunters while drawing you into lightlord and the like. You can also play it on lightlord himself if you need to guarantee a heal. I don't think Primordial Drake is honestly that strong in the deck, you wind up wiping your own board too often

Played around with a few archetypes and I've settle on elemental shaman being my favourite.

It's turned out to not be as braindead play-on-curve as I thought. You can get very powerful chain plays but not all the time.

I like what they've done with the midrange decks this expac. All of them are moreso based around multi-turn card combos that give huge value bombs when achieved, and can be played either for lots of sustain or a more beatdown playstyle depending on how much hero power is used.. Hunter is the only real 1-2-3-4 midrange deck left, but being the only less-combo-centric fast midrange deck makes it unique in itself, so that's fine, that's just what Hunter does.

So is Kripp's deck just a shieldbearer meme or is burn mage with hemet going to be an actual thing?

While it may not be the single reason why hunter is good again, razormaw is Edwin-tier in terms of having a much higher power level than the rest of the deck, it's a fucking crazy card.

Playing Secret Face Hunter right now with huntress, x2 freezing x2 cat trick, x1 snake, leeroy, all the good low curve cards and 2 highmanes for warrior, it's pretty fucking good desu and I'm climbing steady. I think the more hybrid hunter will be the most consistent hunter deck when all is said and done

Just accept that if you're a competent card player, 99% of the losses are completely out of your control. It also depends on the decks you're playing. If you're forcing yourself to play garrosh or valeera because a website run by a rank 10 player told you they were good, you're bound to be less happy. That being said, if you're playing some dumpster deck that puts you at a disadvantage, you're bound to be unhappy too.

Also forgot to mention that the quest reward can vary massively. Sometimes you get 5 bluegills and 5 warleaders, other times you get 10 tidehunters. I'd say it's the most RNG dependent quest reward. Galvadon is close, but his effect is basically discover so you have some amount of control over what you get. A hand full of random murlocs can be just completely awful sometimes.

So I got to rank 8 by playing Priest, and it's very frustrating. I feel like I have to focus really well and get lucky to actually get any wins. The deck just feels very flimsy and weak. I also lose against Taunt Warrior a lot.

Do all decks feel frustratingly weak or is it just Priest? I'm currently trying the Elemental version whose author said he got Legend with it. I don't see myself getting anywhere near Legend with this.

I realized I'm running 6 ungoro cards.
I only own one copy of highmane, hyena and rat pack.
Used to run infested wolf and volcanosaur but they are way too slow.
Ravasaur runt is pretty good because there is no game where you don't have a board with less than 2 minions and having the option between a 2/5 trade minion for 2 mana; a 5/2 face swing or a sticky 2/2 deathrattle summon two 1/1s is super sweet, and if you need to pressure the enemy you can always use it as a solid 2 drop with a beast tag.
If you don't have a perfect 1-2-3 curve you should mulligan everything that has more than 2 mana. You are always looking for the one drop; the dream is alleycat into runt
Remember that you have 15 dmg from hand with your weapon, hero power and kill command. Timber wolf along side release the hounds is deadly as well.

Mage: deadly shot doomsayer, trade his 2/3 drops with razormaw/weapon, sticky minions vs aoe spells, Tundra rhino into highmane to counter his freeze bullshit

Rouge: auto win, push damage, he is dead after he wastes his 5th turn to activate his cave/auctioneer

Taunt warrior: if he mulligans his quest and you don't draw deadly shot it's going to be hard. If you draw deadly shot use it turn 4-5, deathrattle minions counter brawl

Pirate warrior: Better draw your early game and get a taunt out of your animal companion/runt to stop the arcinate rapist

Quest shaman: all face, trade warleader

Elemental shaman: trade everything, your minions have more value in the early game which snowballs hard enough to rip his elementals apart. Careful about the portal which fucks up your 1 drops

Hunter: start first, trade smart, swing face what can't be traded by the enemy and draw a lucky release the hounds

Paladin: ayy

Priest: lmao

The biggest (and maybe only) mistake TempoStorm made on their list was leaving Hunter off Tier 1. It has great matchups against both Rogues, has about a 50/50 against quest warrior and does pretty well against all other Tier2 decks.

Elemental package is basically the worst way you could build this deck, you should try the silence package (purify, hugh mungus, silence, etc) or the tempo priest deck J4ckiechan is running (list here, check his stream for changes) that runs more classic control priest cards like aucheniai circle.

Other priest decks include dragon priest which is def the strongest and sleeper tier 1 and the spell heavy "miracle" lists which is similar but runs more removal and meme cards like glimmerroot

It's not the best, the meme priest and silence priest lists are probably more competitive honestly, silence priest is basically old handlock and very hard to play optimally tho. Check out Nostam's list if it's on a netdeck site, I like playing his and went from 5 to 2 with it.

If you want to just climb, this is the best priest archetype. I was in chat when we were giving input to th3rat on his list which I like a bit more than this tech heavy one, I think I saw Machamp netdecked playing the same list with -1 book wyrm +1 inner fire

One thing that most people don't realize is that it isn't what you play but what you don't play on turns that really separates a skilled player from a novice player. Overextending so that your opponent can easily punish you, let alone tracking his hand for what he kept in the mulligan/old cards that might be removal, is the worst thing you can do to throw a game. Sometimes there is nothing you can do and you even get punished for the higher % play oftentimes, but I guarantee you that you can comfortably climb to legend with midrange hunter, calm down and try to improve nigga

still feel shitty I can't play that shit because I don't have the legos besides tirion, still love the fuck out of playing the aggro variant and it's still incredibly good. this list has taken me to rank 9 thus far and still climbing, took a while to figure out the answer to divine favor being shit in this meta was primalfin and a cult master (sometimes I even consider dropping the leeroy for a 2nd cult, but it's nice having leeroy as a possible finisher topdeck in every game). Too often divine favor either doesn't get draw when it's needed or more often, it's a dead card in my hand because so many people are dropping their hands too, having either the same or less cards in hand than me for most of the game. Primalfin is a nice minion by itself while giving the potential for extra warleaders, and cult master has felt like a much better card draw engine in any game that I'd actually need to draw extra cards (a lot of games I don't need to).

Here's how you win the matchup 90% of the time as freeze mage, running Monsanto's list:

If you can kill him then, yes, that would be a concede. The deck runs a fair number of minions though so your chance to get alexstraza or antonidas is less than 20% I'd say.

Seriously, this fucking card in Ele Shaman is so damn good. Shit has saved my life countless times. Don't seem to ever see it played, though, for some reason. There's so much early aggression right now that you are bound to have taken those 4 points of damage by the time you cast the card and dealing 4 damage also feels like a pretty relevant number in a lot of match-ups.

it switches the buffed stats then reapplies, so an opponent's tar lord turns from 5/11 to 11/5 then adds the 4 attack on again making it a 15/5, very tradable with hogrider.
