Mass Effect needs more rain. I loved the atmosphere and the look of MGS: Ground Zeroes, especially when Chico puts in the earbuds and starts the music which dampens the surrounding environment as the camera follows the Skullface's troops.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that all the squadmates return. They can't be killed, so BW doesn't have to make decisions about stuff based on that. Couple that with the asshurt dynamo that was ME3's handling of about 50% of the much-beloved characters, they probably don't want to mess with it.

They'll bring in a new character or two, new optional outfits for everybody, and let the squadmates develop alongside Ryder.

The crew, yeah, they'll probably be back too, for the sole reason that they can't be killed or otherwise removed.

Wildcard: Drack might die in the sequel. Half his squad banter is about how he's dying.

I think it also depends how much time has past between MEA and MEA2.

Your job as pathfinder is kinda done, not only did you found locations for outposts (and therefore potentially colonies), but also started everywhere a terraforming process, which takes time. Also Meridian is the new home for humans, what else do you want to do as pathfinder?

The other pathfinders have a job to do though, but not the human one.

In my opinion Ryder and the crew need a new job and depending on how they interpret this, some squadmate will stay, others will leave.

Imagine a new Tempest with weapons (for obvious reasons), would Kallo leave the Tempest and join Tempest 2? I don't think so.

If your new job will be creating a defense against the Kett, will Peebee stay with you, even though all she cares about is Remnant tech?

Jaal could stay and help building an military alliance.

On the other, I am roleplaying Reyes as having taking advantage of Autisfu and pumped and dumped her, which makes getting rid of him from the game more expedient since it frees her up to romance others.
