It's clientside of course. It will replace the all instances of one mod's model with another mod's model of your choosing using a text based menu. Takes a reload to apply so you have to launch safehouse and then go back to main menu to see changes. Just note down what appearance you want first and change them all. Hiding the ugly loud barrel extensions and swapping silencer models is great too.

Something weird started to happen to me several days ago, when I shoot a wall for example, there's an additional impact effect happening on the surface, like I shot again. It's even weirder with the flamethrower since after the flame goes, effects of a minigun fast bullets appear on the surface. Any ideas what's wrong?

The point is that on One Down the enemies are total bullet sponges, so anyone would prefer to use crossbows which make grinder a not so preferred perk deck
Using high damage assault rifles however, makes using grinder much less tedious and works too
Sure doing more damage doesn't give more health, but no one wants to play pop goes the weasel with a tiny baby gun. Either it will take forever to complete a heist or you will be down before you kill anyone
